Abstract: abstract: There are many modification of Einstein theory have been established which explain the behavior of universe realistically or hypo-theoretically. Out of those, an f(R) theory of gravity based on non-conformal invariance of gravitational waves has been developed. We attempted to find the solution of this theory for spherically symmetric spacetime in vacuum and compared its result to Einstein theory. We have concluded that solution is consistent with Newtonian limit at large distance from source. Solution predicts two horizon in the spacetime, none of them coincides with Schwarzschild counterpart. However, as this f(R) theory converges to Einstein theory, these horizons coincide.

Abstract: Paper proposes a combined Z-Source boost DC-DC converter for distributed generation systems. The traditional Z-source networks are limited to providing a boosted output voltage. Although by combining some Z-source network in different ways, its boost capability can be increased. The proposed converter can improve large range of output DC voltage and improve reliability with high voltage step-up capability. The proposed converter can be used in fuel cells and PV applications. The principle and comparison for the proposed converter topologies are presented in this paper. Simulation results depending upon the given duty ratio has been carried out using different operating conditions.

Abstract: Today, privacy preservation is one of the greater concerns in data mining. While the research to develop different techniques for data preservation is on, a concrete solution is awaited. We address the privacy issue in data mining by a novel privacy preserving data mining technique. We develop and introduce a novel ICT (inverse cosine based transformation) method to preserve the data before subjecting it to clustering or any kind of analysis. A novel ‘privacy preserved k-clustering algorithm’ (PrivClust) is developed by embedding our ICT method into existing K-means clustering algorithm. This algorithm is explicitly designed with conversion to a privacy-preserving version in mind. The challenge was how to meet privacy requirements and guarantee valid clustering results as well. Simulation was carried out using Matlab. Our analysis and simulation show that this algorithm efficiently preserves the intended information on the one hand and yields valid cluster results on the other.
