01 Jan 2018TL;DR: A method for touchstroke dynamics in touchscreen mobile devices to improve security using the behavioral biometric gives a confidence measurement instead of accept/reject measurements as compared to physiological biometric in which FRR/FAR cannot be changed by varying threshold at individual level.
Abstract: Touchstroke dynamics is an essential component of computer security. In recent years, we are heavily dependent on computers for communication, banking, security applications, and many other areas. This dependency has increased the chances of malicious attacks, so there is a need for high security to protect user’s secured data from unauthorized access. Currently, we are using PINs and passwords for access in computers, but these methods are not sufficient as the computer systems are accessed globally. So we propose a method for touchstroke dynamics in touchscreen mobile devices to improve security. The behavioral biometric gives a confidence measurement instead of accept/reject measurements. We have used an android mobile device for assessing the security using the touchstroke behavior of users. This provides us with confidence measurements for security purpose as compared to physiological biometric in which FRR/FAR cannot be changed by varying threshold at individual level.

01 Nov 2016TL;DR: In this article, an easy-to-tune controller design strategy for two inertia motor system based on coefficient diagram method is proposed. And three speed control strategies namely PID, PID-P and I-PD have been designed based on the coefficient diagram.
Abstract: Electrical drives are hefty tool have major contribution in most of the industrial and nonindustrial motion control applications. The electrical drive connected through a flexible shaft with a load can be modeled as a two inertia motor system. The proposed work deals with an easy-to-tune controller design strategy for two inertia motor system based on coefficient diagram method. Three speed control strategies namely PID, PID-P and I-PD have been designed based on coefficient diagram method. Pole placement techniques based state space controller has also been designed. The design principles and analytical tuning methods of the controllers are presented. All the four control strategies are compared with each other. The simulation results show the stability, reliability and robustness of the proposed controller, in comparison to PID and state space controllers used commonly.

TL;DR: Design and optimization of a MEMS resonator with some pseudo electrodes with influence of various piezoelectric materials like AlN, PZT and ZnO were studied proving AlN as superb thin piezOElectric film or electroacoustic material, to have a very high Quality factor.
Abstract: The following work reports design and optimization of a MEMS resonator with some pseudo electrodes. Three, five and seven psuedo electrodes are placed and simulated. It has been observed that five psuedo electrodes structure gives very high quality factor in addition to minimum false modes interference. Simulation is done on COMSOL multiphysics. Furthermore, influence of various piezoelectric materials like AlN, PZT and ZnO were studied proving AlN as superb thin piezoelectric film or electroacoustic material, to have a very high Quality factor. Appropriate piezoelectric material is needed in addition with psuedo electrodes in order to work efficiently for filter and RF applications.

06 Jul 2018TL;DR: In this paper, the generalized multi-index Bessel function is introduced and the Fox-Wright function is expressed in terms of the generalized multispectral Bessel functions for the Riemann-Liouville fractional integration.
Abstract: We aim to introduce the generalized multiindex Bessel function \(J_{\left( \beta _{j}\right) _{m},\kappa ,b}^{\left( \alpha _{j}\right) _{m},\gamma ,c}\left[ z\right] \) and to present some formulas of the Riemann-Liouville fractional integration and differentiation operators. Further, we also derive certain integral formulas involving the newly defined generalized multiindex Bessel function \(J_{\left( \beta _{j}\right) _{m},\kappa ,b}^{\left( \alpha _{j}\right) _{m},\gamma ,c}\left[ z\right] \). We prove that such integrals are expressed in terms of the Fox-Wright function \(_{p}\Psi _{q}(z)\). The results presented here are of general in nature and easily reducible to new and known results.
