TL;DR: In this paper, five commercial electrolyzers are selected for hydrogen production and the amount of hydrogen produced from electrolysis of water, electrolyzer efficiencies, and H 2 transmission losses for 500 km are estimated.
Abstract: To reduce the CO 2 emissions, many countries have adopted renewable energy mix in their energy production. However, energy produced from renewable energy sources is intermittent in nature. The surplus energy generated from intermittent renewable energy sources is utilized for electrolysis of water to produce hydrogen. Then hydrogen is stored in the form of liquid or compressed gas for later utilization. H 2 can be produced, stored, and utilized to generate electricity and water using fuel cell technology at a later time when demand arises. For this reason, an analysis of storage period in a storage medium is required. In this paper, five commercial electrolyzers are selected for hydrogen production. Amount of hydrogen produced from electrolysis of water, electrolyzer efficiencies, and H 2 transmission losses for 500 km are estimated. Liquid hydrogen storage method is explained in this paper. Cost of liquefaction and cost of hydrogen storage at onsite and at hydrogen transport distance of 500 km are calculated. This paper attempts to analyze the loss pattern of stored liquid H 2 with varying time in storage tanks of different sizes. By considering per day losses of 0.4%, 0.2%, and 0.06% for 50 m3, 100 m3, and 20,000 m3 storage tanks respectively, amount of residual hydrogen after six months, one year, and two years at onsite and at 500 km H 2 transportation distance in 50 m3, 100 m3, and 20,000 m3 storage tanks are also estimated using MATLAB calculations. It can be seen from the results that for 20,000 m3 tank, the percentage of initial amount of H 2 remaining after six months, one year, and two years are 99.94%, 80.33%, and 33.44% respectively. The corresponding values for small size containers reduce with reduction in size.

TL;DR: The present investigation shows a technical as well as economical examination of a 100 kW rooftop pv lattice associated framework dependent on practical implementation through homer programming, which shows the yearly vitality created and devoured by the system is resolved.
Abstract: As more consideration is being centered around the improvement of sustainable power source assets all-inclusive, specialized and economic evaluations of these assets are vital to learning their feasibility. These evaluations can be increasingly significant on the off chance that they depend on field and real execution of the renewable resources source conversion resources. The present investigation shows a technical as well as economical examination of a 100 kW rooftop pv lattice associated framework dependent on practical implementation through homer programming. Both the yearly vitality created and devoured by the system is resolved. The examination of a matrix associated PV framework incorporates; Total Net Present Cost, Levelized Cost of Energy (Rs/kWh), level of sustainable energy (solar) utilized in structure, decrease in bill cost with these presentation parameters. The general, specialized exhibition of the network tied PV framework can be assessed and, they can likewise be utilized to contrast the display of any structure and comparative establishments, independent of their area and introduced limit and correlation with real information. The rate contrast between the genuine and determined power yields is around 11.26 %. However, further research needs to be done by planning a PV based framework for any building structure utilizing homer programming.

TL;DR: A comparative study carried out between these two designs and analyzed that proposed UWB monopole antenna enhanced impedance bandwidth from 3.7 GHz-14.9 GHz to 3.4 GHz-20 GHz and group delay is also satisfactory, which makes the proposed antenna a good candidate for portable UWB applications.
Abstract: A compact, low profile UWB monopole antenna is presented for Ultra wideband applications. A Monopole reference antenna design on the FR4 substrate of size 28.3 × 24 mm2 without defected ground structure (DGS) and results are analyzed in terms of impedance bandwidth, mutual coupling, radiation patterns and antenna gain with the help of CST Microwave studio and then proposed UWB monopole antenna is also design on the same substrate with DGS. All the results are also simulated and analyzed for the same. A comparative study carried out between these two designs and analyzed that proposed UWB monopole antenna enhanced impedance bandwidth from 3.7 GHz–14.9 GHz(without DGS) to 3.4 GHz–20 GHz (with DGS) and group delay is also satisfactory, which makes the proposed antenna is a good candidate for portable UWB applications.

TL;DR: The experimental results validate that the proposed improved whale optimization algorithm outperforms the considered state-of-the-art methods and attains 12% increase in the histopathological image classification accuracy.
Abstract: The whale optimization algorithm is one of the popular meta-heuristic algorithms which has successfully been applied in various application areas such as image analysis and data clustering. However, the slow convergence rate and chances of sticking into the local optima due to improper balance of its exploration and exploitation phases are some of its pitfalls. Therefore, in this paper, a new improved whale optimization algorithm has been proposed. Moreover, the proposed method has been used in bag-of-features method for histopathological image classification. The new algorithm, improved whale optimization algorithm, modifies the encircling phase of original whale optimization algorithm. The proposed algorithm has been used to cluster the extracted features for finding the relevant codewords to be used in the bag-of-features method for histopathological image classification. The efficiency of proposed algorithm has been analyzed on 23 benchmark functions in terms of mean fitness, standard deviation values, and convergence behavior. The performance of the improved whale optimization algorithm based histopathological image classification method has been analyzed on blue histology image dataset and compared with other meta-heuristic based bagof- features methods in terms of recall, precision, F-measure, and accuracy. The experimental results validate that the proposed method outperforms the considered state-of-the-art methods and attains 12% increase in the histopathological image classification accuracy. In this paper, a new improved whale optimization algorithm has been proposed and applied in bag-of-features method for histopathological image classification. The results of proposed method outperform the other existing meta-heuristic methods over standard benchmark functions and histopathological image dataset.

TL;DR: Depending on the task set used DVFSPES can provide upto 50% improvement in response time of aperiodic tasks without compromising on the deadlines of the periodic task, and EEDVFS, Energy Efficient DVFS, that uses an EDF based Deferrable Server on various performance metrics.
Abstract: An important factor that affects the performance of battery operated real-time and embedded systems is Energy. Various techniques have been employed to limit the energy dissipation. Dynamic voltage and frequency scaling (DVFS) is one of the most popular techniques for energy conservation in such systems and is a well researched area. This paper presents an energy conscious real-time scheduling algorithm - DVFSPES, DVFS with Priority Exchange Server for mixed task set comprising of periodic and aperiodic tasks. It uses Earliest Deadline First (EDF) based Priority Exchange Server. The results of DVFSPES are compared with EEDVFS, Energy Efficient DVFS algorithm, that uses an EDF based Deferrable Server on various performance metrics. Depending on the task set used DVFSPES can provide upto 50% improvement in response time of aperiodic tasks without compromising on the deadlines of the periodic task.
