01 Nov 2018TL;DR: The experimental results of the proposed vehicular clustering algorithm are empirically explored the communication overhead, average number of cluster with different node density and also demonstrate that the system retains cluster stability even when the number of nodes expands.
Abstract: Formation and maintenance of efficient clusters in VANET for information disseminating is an exceptionally challenging problem because of the extremely dynamic characteristics of VANETs. Clustering in Vehicular Adhoc Networks (VANETs) is one of the controller schemes employed to provide efficient connection among vehicles with less communication overhead. The quick changes in the topology of VANETs have impelled successive cluster formation and reshuffling which has truly influenced the vehicle communication in Vehicular Adhoc Networks. Clustering is based on vehicle's Information Interest Type (IIT) and their moving direction. The experimental results of the proposed vehicular clustering algorithm are empirically explored the communication overhead, average number of cluster with different node density and also demonstrate that the system retains cluster stability even when the number of nodes expands.

08 Oct 2015TL;DR: A square-multiplier unit with the help of square operation is developed and a cost evaluation technique of the square andsquare-multiplication operations using the normal expressions is developed.
Abstract: Binary number system is the most basic building block of the multi-valued logic system. We realize the quantum quaternary logic using basic quantum quaternary logic gates. In this paper, we developed a square-multiplier unit with the help of square operation. We developed also a cost evaluation technique of the square and square-multiplication operations using the normal expressions.

25 Sep 2020TL;DR: This paper gives the technical and financial details of the optimal solution which consists of 585 kW capacity of solar PV and 15 kWcapacity of wind turbines and shows that power generation from renewable sources is 46.98% of the total energy being utilized on the university campus.
Abstract: Recent years have shown a tremendous increase in power generation from renewable sources of energy. Especially, solar photovoltaic and wind energy have gained more attention because of the maturity of both of these technologies. This study describes the possibility of the installation of a grid-connected hybrid renewable energy system for supplying a daily load of 4, 65SkWh in a university campus situated at city Kota, in Rajasthan, India. HOMER software is used for the simulation of the hybrid renewable energy system. Various scenarios have been generated to supply the load demand. The scenario in which the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) comes nearly equal to the charge of importing power from the grid is taken as the optimal solution. This paper gives the technical and financial details of the optimal solution which consists of 585 kW capacity of solar PV and 15 kW capacity of wind turbines. Results obtained from the study shows that power generation from renewable sources is 46.98% of the total energy being utilized on the university campus. The net present cost for a lifespan of 25 years comes out to be $221 million and the power generated from renewable sources comes out to be 9,24,141 kWh/year.

01 Sep 2016TL;DR: A newly modeled 3D MEMS piezoelectric actuated microstage has been designed and simulated using COMSOL Multiphysics based on finite element method (FEM) for Micropositioning and Nanopositioning.
Abstract: In this paper, a newly modeled 3D MEMS piezoelectric actuated microstage has been designed and simulated using COMSOL Multiphysics based on finite element method (FEM). Piezoelectric actuation is most widely used for providing immediate output, small input voltage, high accuracy in positioning with required high frequency. The microstage is designed containing moonie structure which amplifies the actuation of PZT actuator. Two designs of microstage are presented for Micropositioning and Nanopositioning. During designing poly-silicon material is used as this material increases the displacement.

17 Jul 2019TL;DR: Research in this paper focused on single-stage boost inverter topology with the function of low frequency current ripple (LFCR) reducing to recognition quantity and analyzed the LFCR in fuel cell output current.
Abstract: New technologies are expected to lower the investment and reduce cost. Fuel cell generation technologies are now on the verge of being introduced commercially and delivered to market and it might become eminently fuel-efficient and more economical to generate electricity than present utility grid. Unluckily, comprising the systems for power generation from fuel cell have single-phase inverters which draw low-frequency current ripple at twice the output frequency from the fuel cell which may create instability, low efficiency, and lifetime duration of fuel cell stack is shorten. Research in this paper focused on single-stage boost inverter topology with the function of low frequency current ripple (LFCR) reducing to recognition quantity. In addition, present system consists of hybrid switched-inductor step up converter and full bridge inverter which shares a bridge-arm with the converter. The current of boost inductor is designed to work with discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) and analyzed the LFCR in fuel cell output current. The circuit layout, simulation results and performance analysis of 1.26kW/24Vdc, 12kHz are shown to demonstrate theoretical study.
