TL;DR: The degradation study presented in this paper suggests the possible lifetime of the sensor by utilizing AR and NLRAX prediction models and when it is viable to replace the field sensor.
Abstract: Use of sensing technique is now a synonym to industrial work environment and detecting presence of hazardous gases in various industrial processes is nowadays mandatory. This aforementioned fact is realized in this paper, wherein, an integrated IoT server is build using nodejs, utilizing MQTT for M2M communication. The framework is designed for auto connection of sensor nodes as soon as they are powered up and the central server is used for analyzing the incoming sensor data of (CEERIs) ammonia gas sensor. The data collection is made over a period of 4 months with identical gas exposure in two exposure cycle. Here, Raspberry pi3 board is used as a gateway that implements the IoT server and hotspot for device connectivity. Sensors study includes baseline and sensitivity drift, the relative change in response to gas exposure and hysteresis effect together. A correlation of above-mentioned sensor parameters depicts mutual relation and effect of sensor parameters on each other. The industrial safety is also guaranteed by routine sensor health monitoring and possible replacement of the field sensor. The degradation study presented in this paper suggests the possible lifetime of the sensor by utilizing AR and NLRAX prediction models and when it is viable to replace the field sensor.

TL;DR: The proposed strategy is known as half-life teaching factor based TLBO (HLTLBO) algorithm, which is compared with various state-of-art algorithms namely, TLBOA, global-Best inspired biogeography-based optimization (GBBO), particle swarm optimization (PSO), and covariance matrix adaptation evolution strategy (CMA-ES).
Abstract: Teaching-learning-based optimization algorithm (TLBOA) is a significant metaheuristic algorithm. It is a proficient approach for solving multidimensional, linear, and nonlinear optimization problems. It is based on teaching-learning (TL) process that searches for a global optimum through two modules of learning: (a) teacher-phase (TP) and (b) learner-phase (LP). For avoiding the premature convergence of TLBOA, half-life teaching factor is discovered in this paper. The proposed strategy is known as half-life teaching factor based TLBO (HLTLBO) algorithm. The performance of HLTLBO is calculated over 20 benchmark functions and compared with various state-of-art algorithms namely, TLBOA, global-Best inspired biogeography-based optimization (GBBO), particle swarm optimization (PSO), and covariance matrix adaptation evolution strategy (CMA-ES). The obtained outcomes validate the authenticity of the discovered HLTLBO.

TL;DR: The quadratic nature for obtaining higher voltage gain ratios in step-down (buck) and step-up (boost) converter's operating states with reduced charging and discharging ripples is presented.
Abstract: The rapid use of renewable and sustainable energy sources in distributed generation system, the importance of energy storage devices forcing the researches to develop new key technologies. For continual power deliver, make greater use of renewable electricity sources, together with solar and wind. Power electronic converters are mostly connected among the different voltage buses and storage systems. Bidirectional dc-dc converter topologies are used for providing charging or discharging. This paper presents the quadratic nature for obtaining higher voltage gain ratios in step-down (buck) and step-up (boost) converter's operating states with reduced charging and discharging ripples. Proposed scheme has been developed and analyzed using MATLAB/simulink.

TL;DR: Risk associated and respective privileges to attacker with each type of SQL injection attacks have been analyzed and an impact of risk on the web application database is investigated.
Abstract: Web applications have been becoming the comprehensive disclosure of commercial online industry. Swift development in web technologies have been step up the rate of embracing the database driven web application. With activities like online — e-banking, e-shopping, e-booking, e-trading, e-payments etc. the web applications have become the essential element of our daily routine activities. The SQL injection attacks could be solemn threats to web application database. It permits the attacker to take control over application ensuing-leak of confidential data, financial fraud, denial of services, database finger printing and many more to count. In this paper risk associated and respective privileges to attacker with each type of SQL injection attacks have been analyzed. This paper investigates an impact of risk on the web application database.
