TL;DR: In this article, a 2 × 2 multi-input multi-output (MIMO) antenna for WiMAX 802.16a applications is proposed, which is very useful for disaster communication systems.
Abstract: This paper presents a novel, compact, and low-profile 2 × 2 multi-input multi-output (MIMO) antenna for WiMAX 802.16a applications which is very useful for disaster communication systems. Proposed WiMAX-MIMO antenna designed on low cost FR4 substrate with the compact size of 32 × 32 mm2 with dielectric constant of 4.4. The defected ground structure perturbed in the form of L-shaped in the ground plane offer a good isolation up to −26 dB for the entire frequency band of 3–14 GHz. The two patches on the top of substrate perpendicular to each other introduced pattern diversity in the radiation pattern. The good impedance bandwidth of 0–14 GHz, high isolation and low correlation coefficient make the proposed design antenna suitable for WiMAX 802.16a applications.

TL;DR: In this paper, the performance analysis of modified hybrid 2-qZS dc/DC boost converter for grid connected PV power system is presented, where an additional switch and a diode is connected at the output terminal of conventional hybrid 2quasi ZS boost converter.
Abstract: This paper presents the performance analysis of modified hybrid 2-qZS dc/DC boost converter for grid connected PV power system. Since PV array has low dc output voltage therefore a high step up dc-dc converter is required. The proposed converter is modified form of conventional hybrid 2-quasi ZS boost converter. In this converter an additional switch and a diode is connected at the output terminal of conventional hybrid 2-quasi ZS boost converter. A comparison of proposed modified hybrid 2-qZS dc/DC boost converter is carried out with conventional hybrid 2-quasi ZS boost converter and other family of Z-source converters. The proposed converter has boost factor about twice of conventional hybrid 2-quasi ZS boost converter at very small duty cycle 0 < D < 0.166. The performance of proposed converter is analyzed in Matlab 2016a.

TL;DR: Ion selective electrode method works on the potentiometric behaviour and linear regression model, which works as a new technology for sensing the selective element in suitable manner within a specified limit.
Abstract: Basically this study shows the use of Ion Selective Electrodes for the study of cells, blood and other human body parts and also in other biomedical researches. Because we know that body cell content different type of nutrient elements such as Amino acid, phosphorous etc., blood contains iron, haemoglobin, sodium etc. So the elements in the cells, blood and other parts of human body can be determine individually by using the ion selective electrode because ion selective electrode respond to a particular ion or element. In ion selective electrode method Nernst Equation is generally used. This method works as a new technology for sensing the selective element in suitable manner within a specified limit. In biomedical researches ion selective electrode can be used for DNA, RNA study purpose because DNA and RNA are the nuclear acids and these acids can be analysed by using ion selective electrode method. Ion selective electrode method works on the potentiometric behaviour and linear regression model. Linear regression model is made by using the Nernst equation with the help of least square method. In this method there are many potentiometric calculations are performed and finally their mean is used as result for the concentration of elemental analysis. Generally ion selective electrode has wide range of operation for 5×10-5 mol/l. to 1×10-1 mol/l.

TL;DR: In this article, the integration of intermittent renewable energies in an existing electrical system and in particularly in the case of solar parks is discussed, including aspects related with the operation, control and security analysis of solar park in transmission system.
Abstract: This research paper intends to cover the integration of intermittent renewable energies in an existing electrical system and in particularly in the case of solar parks. This includes aspects related with the operation, control and security analysis of solar parks in transmission system. The delivery of power from Solar Parks to the transmission system is related with the security of the electrical system. The main aspect to consider is the integration of Solar Parks and how regulates them with global problem in which the energy balance of the transmission system to be maintained and the consequences when this balance is lost voltage and flows control also comparative analyze in this work.

TL;DR: The design, simulation & characterization of an optoelectronic device which is capable of speeding up the processing capabilities have been presented and can serve as a building block of optical data processing while breaking through the way to all optic processors based on Si chips.
Abstract: Continuous growing demand of real time computing originate frequent need of much faster processors than those are already available. There is a prompt evolution of new optical communication related application and components to fulfill these requirements. The attempt of combining these two methods leads to the generation of optoelectronic devices. The new device is MEMS based nanoscale silicon on insulator photo activated modulator using directional coupler. The design, simulation & characterization of an optoelectronic device based on Si which is capable of speeding up the processing capabilities have been presented in this paper. In this control command is sent optically and the nature of data flow is electronic. Faster operation rates are expected with the device. This optical device can serve as a building block of optical data processing while breaking through the way to all optic processors based on Si chips.
