TL;DR: In this paper, the authors have discussed the various propulsion techniques available as well as the future possibilities for more widespread commercialization of nano-robot-based treatments, which have been successfully employed in the cure of diabetes, for drug delivery in ovarian and pancreatic cancer as well and for treating skin cancer laparoscopically.
Abstract: Micro/nano-robotics is one of the latest innovative technologies used in the field of medicine to deliver affordable, precise and high-end medical care. The field of advance medical diagnostics and treatments is now employing micro/nano-robots considering their distinctive capabilities in moving inside the body efficiently and accomplishing complex tasks with precision at small scales. These nano-robots can either be remotely controlled through some external source or can be self-propelled to deliver drugs to specific areas within the body for better efficacy besides minimizing damage to the rest of the body. They can also be used in vivo applications and for non-invasive surgeries. There has been documented evidence to prove that nano-robot-based treatments have been successfully employed in the cure of diabetes, for drug delivery in ovarian and pancreatic cancer as well as for treating skin cancer laparoscopically. However, the technology is still in the infancy stage and there are challenges to meet before this can be accepted and employed widely. In this paper, we have discussed the various propulsion techniques available as well as the future possibilities for more widespread commercialization.

TL;DR: In this paper, a push/pull strength measurement specific setup at MNIT Jaipur was utilized for data collection, and data for 20 male participants were collected, and the mean age, stature, and weight of the participants were 27 ± 7.08 years, 1695 ± 74 mm, and 56.2 ± 3.31 kg.
Abstract: A manual worker has to apply a push/pull force in the horizontal plane while doing work. However, no such data are available on push/pull strength for Indian participants at three handle heights. Therefore, current research was done for collecting the data of push/pull strength for Indian male participants. A push/pull strength measurement specific setup established at MNIT Jaipur was utilized for data collection, and data for 20 male participants were collected. The mean age, stature, and weight of the participants were 27 ± 7.08 years, 1695 ± 74 mm, and 56.2 ± 3.31 kg. The highest isometric push and pull strengths at low handle height with both hands were 352.9 ± 76.4 and 308.2 ± 55.3 N. The determined values can be utilized as a dataset for the design of manually operated tools and equipment.

TL;DR: AC to AC converter for Single phase Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), which can solve the commutation issue by employing AC to AC converters without detecting the input voltage polarity, is introduced.
Abstract: This paper introduces AC to AC converter for Single phase Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), which can solve the commutation issue by employing AC to AC converters without detecting the input voltage polarity. With a salient structure of SC and connected inductors. The PWM ac to ac converters replaced by the SC design and a coupled inductor by the standard leg hence the boost inductor buck and boost type suggested converter is developed. In this commended work the suggested converter has requirement of two coupled inductor and this coupled inductor is combined with the boost inductor. The input inductor of suggested converter could be much compact than that of standard Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) AC to AC converter. The MATLAB-2016 b setting presents the simulation-based buck-boost ac to ac converter.

TL;DR: A hybrid transformer-less PFC boost converter is introduced that uses a minimum number of devices to shape current waveform at the input and to obtain a high voltage at output without the need of operating at high duty ratio.
Abstract: Recently, power electronic devices are widely used in various applications; because of this the shape of input current is greatly affected. Generally, the boost PFC converter provides satisfactory operation for current shaping but for some high voltage application it is not appropriate. In this proposed work a hybrid transformer-less PFC boost converter is introduced. This converter will function in DCM i.e. discontinuous conduction mode to shape current waveform at the input and to obtain a high voltage at output without the need of operating at high duty ratio. The converter uses a minimum number of devices which will enhance the power density and minimizes the cost. Furthermore, power switches voltage stress is decreased leading to low power loss in power switches and therefore making the circuit more cost effective. Finally, simulated results confirm the theoretical analysis and the competence of the presented converter.
