TL;DR: In this paper, a novel position update process is developed and incorporated in PSO by adopting the concept of the neighborhood topologies for each particle, and performance of propounded PSO version is much better than standard PSO (PSO 2011) algorithm while maintaining the cost-effectiveness in terms of function evaluations.
Abstract: The particle swarm optimization (PSO) is one of the popular and simple to implement swarm intelligence based algorithms. To some extent, PSO dominates other optimization algorithms but prematurely converging to local optima and stagnation in later generations are some pitfalls. The reason for these problems is the unbalancing of the diversification and convergence abilities of the population during the solution search process. In this paper, a novel position update process is developed and incorporated in PSO by adopting the concept of the neighborhood topologies for each particle. Statistical analysis over 15 complex benchmark functions shows that performance of propounded PSO version is much better than standard PSO (PSO 2011) algorithm while maintaining the cost-effectiveness in terms of function evaluations.

TL;DR: The effects of the electromagnetic fields induced by cell phones on human body, plans related to electromagnetic vulnerability in mobile communication and present feasible ways of reducing the effects are presented.
Abstract: It is 2017 and mobile communication technology has completely engraved itself into our lives. Mobile communication technology usage has been quickly develop internationally in the last 10 years, which has ensued in concern of public about the harmful health effect of electromagnetic (EM) radiation that are discharged by cell phones. The exposure of electromagnetic radiation (EMR) has received an equitable share of participation in literature; however, this paper is one to represent the effects of the electromagnetic fields induced by cell phones on human body, plans related to electromagnetic vulnerability in mobile communication and present feasible ways of reducing the effects.

TL;DR: In this paper, the use of approximate energy methods, such as the Rayleigh-Ritz method, is explored in order to obtain the eigenvectors and eigenfrequencies for annular piezoceramic actuators.
Abstract: Piezoceramic materials are widely used in solid-state actuators and sensors. Since the shear piezoelectric coupling coefficient d15 is much higher than the other piezoelectric coefficients d31 or d33, the application of shear actuators is of particular interest. Shear-induced vibrations in piezoceramics are more complex to describe mathematically than longitudinal or transverse vibrations. Furthermore, as the complexity of the model increases, the coupling of electrical and mechanical terms precludes the analytical solution of the field equations for all but the simplest case. For a moderately complex piezoceramic model, the implementation of an analytical method to obtain the closed-form solution is very challenging. The use of approximate energy methods, such as the Rayleigh–Ritz method, is explored in this work to obtain the eigenvectors and eigenfrequencies for annular piezoceramic actuators. Series comprising orthogonal polynomial functions, generated using the Gram–Schmidt method, is used in the Ray...

TL;DR: This paper presents existing techniques and methods of ANPR system, and shows the steps of number plate detection and existing methods.
Abstract: Automatic Number Plate Recognition system i.e. ANPR system identifies vehicle number plate. This system is used in various application like Traffic management, Parking management, Parking fee collection, Border crossings, finding position of steal cars etc. due to some factor like weather condition, light issue, inappropriate size of plate. It is difficult to identify the number plate. This paper presents existing techniques and methods of ANPR system. It show the steps of number plate detection and existing methods.

TL;DR: The 5G handover key mechanism with its key hierarchy is discussed and the Xn-based, N2-based intra/inter AMF handover mechanism in 5G communication network is analyzed and security weaknesses such as false base-station and Denial-of-Service (DoS) attack are identified.
Abstract: With the development of Fifth Generation (5G) mobile telecommunication technology, the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) is attempting to fulfill the increasing security demands of IoT-based applications. 3GPP has published the study report of the 5G handover architecture and security functions. In this work, we discuss the 5G handover key mechanism with its key hierarchy. In addition, the Xn-based, N2-based intra/inter AMF handover mechanism in 5G communication network is analyzed and identify the security weaknesses such as false base-station and Denial-of-Service (DoS) attack. Moreover, the handover mechanism suffers from authentication complexity due to high bandwidth consumption. From these security issues, all the future session keys will be compromised and secure connection between mobile/ user equipment and target basestation will not be established.
