TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluated the grid-connected solar photovoltaic system for Nagar Nigam Kota Rajasthan, India and the annual energy production estimation from PVsyst is 167822 kWh.
Abstract: India has a target to install 175 GW of renewable energy capacity until 2022. Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India has set an ambitious target of 100 GW solar power by 2022. A significant portion of this target, i.e. 40,000 MW has to be achieved from Grid-Interactive Rooftop Solar PV Plants (RTPV). The solar photovoltaic rooftop has emerged as a potential green technology solution for the conventional fossil fuel based energy sources. This study evaluates the grid-connected solar photovoltaic system for Nagar Nigam Kota Rajasthan. The latitude and longitude of RTPV plant site at Kota are 25°11’33" N and 75°48’55" E respectively. The study further discusses the guidelines and technical specification of various components of grid-connected PV system installed at the chosen site. It analyzes the feasibility of a 100 KW RTPV power plant for calculating the energy production, one software tool PVsyst is used for the evaluation. The annual energy production estimation from PVsyst is 167822 kWh.

TL;DR: This work proposes a novel method based on artificial bee colony algorithm to segment the leukocytes from the images of mice skin sections stained with Hematoxylin and Eosin staining and acquired at 40 x magnification and shows that the proposed method outperforms when compared with the well known segmentation methods.
Abstract: An automatic segmentation of leukocytes can assist pharmaceutical companies to take decisions in the discovery of drug and encourages for development of automated leukocytes recognition system. Segmentation of leukocytes in tissue images is a complex process due to the presence of various noise effects, large variability in the images, and shape of the nuclei. Surprisingly, rare efforts have been done to automate the segmentation of leukocytes in various disease models on Hematoxylin and Eosin stained tissue images. The present work proposes a novel method based on artificial bee colony algorithm to segment the leukocytes from the images of mice skin sections stained with Hematoxylin and Eosin staining and acquired at 40 x magnification. The results show that the proposed method outperforms when compared with the well known segmentation methods.

TL;DR: In this paper study of automatic load frequency control is carried out for a multi-area power system using an intelligent controller and NARMA-L2 controller is used for investigating the dynamic response of the frequency and Tie-line power in the interconnected area.
Abstract: Most important problem in an interconnected area is to maintain frequency in a tolerable limit. In this paper study of automatic load frequency control is carried out for a multi-area power system using an intelligent controller. NARMA-L2 controller is used for investigating the dynamic response of the frequency and Tie-line power in the interconnected area. By using the conventional controller the performance is improved, but it is slow. The efficiency of an intelligent controller for frequency control is carried by using MATLAB software. The Peak-overshoot, Peak-undershoot, Settling-time of the responses carried out by the trained controller is better than the conventional controller.

TL;DR: This study suggests a novel approach for order diminution of interval system using cuckoo search algorithm that utilises the Kharitonov’s polynomials to ensure a stable model.
Abstract: Order diminution plays a significant role in the study of complex dynamical linear interval systems. Numerous strategies have been suggested in diverse field for order diminution of higher dimensional models. Nowadays, the optimization algorithms are commonly used for order diminution based on a specific error performance criterion known as cost or objective function. This study suggests a novel approach for order diminution of interval system using cuckoo search algorithm. The proposed technique utilises the Kharitonov’s polynomials to ensure a stable model. Typical examples have been considered to showcase the efficiency of the presented approach. Comparative study is also demonstrated with other available techniques in terms of different performance measures. The suggested approach has also been applied for order diminution of multi input multi output interval system.
