TL;DR: The state-space averaging technique is used to obtain the model of complete buck converter system with parasitic resistances in continuous conduction mode and a lag-lead compensator is designed as a controller to improve bandwidth and steady-state accuracy.
Abstract: In this paper, the state-space averaging technique is used to obtain the model of complete buck converter system with parasitic resistances in continuous conduction mode. A lag-lead compensator is designed as a controller to improve bandwidth and steady-state accuracy. Two control methods are described, one with the feedback control only to regulate the output voltage and another method includes a feedforward gain to achieve a good line regulation and results are compared. It is shown that with feedforward gain, the overshoot is reduced and there is no transient due to the input voltage disturbance. The results of buck converter system are verified through simulation.

TL;DR: Digital design of fuzzy logic controller (FLC) based robust controller for DC-DC converter is presented in this research paper and shows superiority and robustness of controller.
Abstract: DC-DC converters in DC system are equally important as that of transformers in AC system Applications of DC-DC converters include integration of renewable sources, power supplies, controlled electric drives etc Digital design of fuzzy logic controller (FLC) based robust controller for DC-DC converter is presented in this research paper The FLC shows good performance where linear control techniques are unable to produce desired result The power electronic converters suffer from non-linearity and therefore conventional linear controllers don't provide desired response The proposed FLC is inspected for practical operating conditions of DC-DC converters such as load changes, input voltage variations etc A comparative simulation result is produced for practical operating conditions which shows superiority and robustness of controller The proposed digital design of FLC can be implemented on DSP for generating switching duty cycle for converters

TL;DR: In this paper, the capabilities of four population based algorithms including multi-objective particle swarm optimization (MOPSO), improved non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA-II), improved strength Pareto evolutionary algorithm (SPEA2), and modified pareto envelop-based selection algorithm (PESA2) to acquire the solution for the multiobjective optimal power flow (Mo-OPF) problem are compared.
Abstract: The capabilities of four population based algorithms including multi-objective particle swarm optimization (MOPSO) improved non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA-II) improved strength Pareto evolutionary algorithm (SPEA2) and modified Pareto envelop-based selection algorithm (PESA2) to acquire the solution for the multi-objective optimal power flow (Mo-OPF) problem are compared in this paper. For the Mo-OPF problem solution the non-dominated solution sets are created by Pareto optimal method. The best compromise solution among different solutions sets is chosen with the help of a fuzzy based decision mechanism. These operations are carried out on a standard IEEE 30-bus six-generator system subjected to system constraints and power flow balance. The load flow calculation is conducted with the help of iterative method. Total cost minimization of generation and total generation emission minimization are observed as desired function for optimal power flow (OPF) problem. In this paper above algorithms solve Mo-OPF problem on the basis of operational feasibility efficient operation operational speed and best optimal solution for the given objectives.
