TL;DR: This paper investigates the interest focused on employing parallel connected dc-dc converter with high tracking effectiveness under wide variation in environmental conditions (Insolation) and wide load variation and presents an approach on how duty cycle for maximum power position (MPP) is adjusted by taking care of varying load conditions and without iterative steps.
Abstract: This paper investigates the interest focused on employing parallel connected dc-dc converter with high tracking effectiveness under wide variation in environmental conditions (Insolation) and wide load variation. dc-dc converter is an essential part of the stand alone PV system. Paper also presents an approach on how duty cycle for maximum power position (MPP) is adjusted by taking care of varying load conditions and without iterative steps. Synchronized PWM pulses are employed for the converter. High tracking efficiency is achieved with continuous input and inductor current. In this approach, the converter can he utilized in buck as well in boost mode. The PV system simulation was verified and experimental results were in agreement to the presented scheme.

01 Jan 2017TL;DR: The results manifest that LISFLA is an antagonist variant of SFLA, a memetic meta-heuristic approach for solving complex optimization problems that is embedded by calculating the mean of local best and one randomly selected neighbour solution of memeplex while updating the position of worst solution in local best updating phase.
Abstract: Shuffled Frog-Leaping Algorithm (SFLA) is a memetic meta-heuristic approach for solving complex optimization problems. Like other evolutionary algorithms, it may also suffer from the problem of slow convergence. To elevate the convergence property of the algorithm, locally informed search strategy is incorporated with SFLA. To improve the intensification and diversification capabilities of SFLA, locally informed search strategy is embedded by calculating the mean of local best and one randomly selected neighbour solution of memeplex while updating the position of worst solution in local best updating phase. Similarly, mean of global best and a randomly selected neighbour solution is used to improve the position of worst solution while updating the position of worst solution in global best updating phase. The proposed algorithm is named as Locally Informed Shuffled Frog-Leaping Algorithm (LISFLA). The modified algorithm LISFLA is analysed over 15 distinct benchmark test problems and compared with conventional SFLA, its recent variant, namely Binomial Crossover Embedded Shuffled Frog-Leaping Algorithm (BC-SFLA) and three other nature inspired algorithms, namely Gravitational Search Algorithm (GSA), Differential Evolution (DE) and Biogeography-Based Optimization Algorithm (BBO). The results manifest that LISFLA is an antagonist variant of SFLA.

TL;DR: Two new subclasses of the function class Σ of bi-univalent functions defined in the open unit disk, which are associated with fractional q−calculus operators, satisfying subordinate conditions are introduced and investigated.
Abstract: In this paper, we introduce and investigate two new subclasses of the function class Σ of bi-univalent functions defined in the open unit disk, which are associated with fractional q−calculus operators, satisfying subordinate conditions. Furthermore, we find estimates on the Taylor-Maclaurin coefficients |a2| and |a3| for functions in these new subclasses. Several (known or new) consequences of the results are also pointed out.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors introduced the notion of a polynomial version of this (abbreviated as $$f\hbox {-exunits}): a unit u in a commutative ring with unity R is called exceptional if u-1 is also a unit.
Abstract: A unit u in a commutative ring with unity R is called exceptional if $$u-1$$ is also a unit. We introduce the notion of a polynomial version of this (abbreviated as $$f\hbox {-exunits}$$) for any $$f(X) \in \mathbb {Z}[X]$$. We find the number of representations of a non-zero element of $$\mathbb {Z}/n\mathbb {Z}$$ as a sum of two f-exunits for an infinite family of polynomials f of each degree $$\ge 1$$. We also derive the exact formulae for certain infinite families of linear and quadratic polynomials. This generalizes a result proved by Sander (J Number Theory 159:1–6, 2016).

01 Dec 2020TL;DR: In this article, integral transforms of polynomial weighted incomplete H-functions and incomplete ǫ-H functions were derived for general image formulas, which may give rise to integral transforms involved with the H-values.
Abstract: Abstract In this article, we have derived some integral transforms of the polynomial weighted incomplete H-functions and incomplete ̄H-functions. The obtained image formulas are of general nature and may, as special cases, give rise to integral transforms involved with the H-functions and ̄H-functions.
