TL;DR: In this paper, a small-signal impedance modeling of grid-connected three-phase converters for wind and solar system stability analysis is presented, where a converter is modeled by a positive-sequence and a negative-sequence impedance directly in the phase domain.
Abstract: This paper presents small-signal impedance modeling of grid-connected three-phase converters for wind and solar system stability analysis. In the proposed approach, a converter is modeled by a positive-sequence and a negative-sequence impedance directly in the phase domain. It is further demonstrated that the two sequence subsystems are decoupled under most conditions and can be studied independently from each other. The proposed models are verified by experimental measurements and their applications are demonstrated in a system testbed.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors report evidence that is consistent with the hypothesis that firms selling experience or credence goods are more likely to be socially responsible than firms selling search goods using firm-level data.
Abstract: Recent theories of the strategic use of corporate social responsibility (CSR) emphasize the role of information asymmetry and how CSR is likely to be incorporated into a firm's product differentiation strategy. A key empirical implication of these theories is that firms selling experience or credence goods are more likely to be socially responsible than firms selling search goods. Using firm-level data, we report evidence that is consistent with this hypothesis.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors analyze the UITT process and its outcomes based on 98 structured interviews of key UITT stakeholders (i.e., university administrators, academic and industry scientists, business managers, and entrepreneurs) at five research universities in two regions of the US.

TL;DR: The temperatures substantiate the existence of wet, minimum-melting conditions within 200 million years of solar system formation and suggest that Earth had settled into a pattern of crust formation, erosion, and sediment recycling as early as 4.35 Ga.
Abstract: Ancient zircons from Western Australia9s Jack Hills preserve a record of conditions that prevailed on Earth not long after its formation. Widely considered to have been a uniquely violent period geodynamically, the Hadean Eon [4.5 to 4.0 billion years ago (Ga)] has recently been interpreted by some as far more benign—possibly even characterized by oceans like those of the present day. Knowledge of the crystallization temperatures of the Hadean zircons is key to this debate. A thermometer based on titanium content revealed that these zircons cluster strongly at ∼700°C, which is indistinguishable from temperatures of granitoid zircon growth today and strongly suggests a regulated mechanism producing zircon-bearing rocks during the Hadean. The temperatures substantiate the existence of wet, minimum-melting conditions within 200 million years of solar system formation. They further suggest that Earth had settled into a pattern of crust formation, erosion, and sediment recycling as early as 4.35 Ga.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined problems with the existing literature on science parks and incubators in terms of four levels of analysis: the science parks themselves, the enterprises located upon them, the entrepreneurs and teams of entrepreneurs involved in these enterprises, and at the systemic level.
