TL;DR: Postoperative TTE and computed tomography showed unobstructed pulmonary venous drainage into the left atrium with no flow across the ASD.
Abstract: A 45-day-old male was found to have a partial anomalous pulmonary venous connection on transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) in which three pulmonary veins drained into the coronary sinus (CS) (Figure 1). At the time of surgery, thewall of the CSwas unroofed and both the CS and a secundum atrial septal defect (ASD) were closed using a bovine pericardial patch. The patient tolerated the procedure well. Postoperative TTE (Figure 2) and computed tomography (Figure 3) showed unobstructed pulmonary venous drainage into the left atrium with no flow across the ASD. ORCID

TL;DR: There is no significant relationship between unilateral lower limb swelling and the presence of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in stroke patients, and there is no correlation between lower limb swellings and functional outcome that are frequently used in a rehabilitation unit.
Abstract: • There is no significant relationship between unilateral lower limb swelling and the presence of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in stroke patients. • In stroke patients with diagnosed DVT, there is no correlation between lower limb swelling and functional outcome that are frequently used in a rehabilitation unit.
