Abstract: The focus of this paper is to design and flexible control a three fingered hand system with eight axes for smart factory with an flexible controller, and to keep a useful big database for dynamic manipulation based on the experimental results. The weight of the hand module is only 1.2 kg, but flexible motion and powerful grasping are possible. To achieve such a flexible motion control of a robotic hand, we have developed a robust and precise fingered hand with a control system incorporating image recognition system in which we deal with the problems of not only accuracy and range of motion but also the flexibility of hand. The fingers are arranged so as to grasp both circular and prismatic objects. In order to achieve the light mechanism, we reduced the number of joints and fingers as much as possible. In this study, it was used three fingers with eight axes which is the optimal number to achieve a robust grasping diverse shape parts for factory automation.

TL;DR: Postoperative TTE and computed tomography showed unobstructed pulmonary venous drainage into the left atrium with no flow across the ASD.
Abstract: A 45-day-old male was found to have a partial anomalous pulmonary venous connection on transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) in which three pulmonary veins drained into the coronary sinus (CS) (Figure 1). At the time of surgery, thewall of the CSwas unroofed and both the CS and a secundum atrial septal defect (ASD) were closed using a bovine pericardial patch. The patient tolerated the procedure well. Postoperative TTE (Figure 2) and computed tomography (Figure 3) showed unobstructed pulmonary venous drainage into the left atrium with no flow across the ASD. ORCID

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors attempted to analyze 69 regular papers' abstracts in the military science and domestic social science fields and found that 63% (44) of these were related to the construction of military power such as security cooperation, external situations, research and development, and defense reform.
Abstract: The Republic of Korea, which is the only divided country in the world, is an extremely prominent country facing an existential enemy named “North Korea”. In Korea, the military science field is gaining interest and importance. However, as it is a specialized field, research is scarce. In this study, through text mining, we attempted to analyze 69 regular papers’ abstracts in the military science and domestic social science fields. These abstracts were present in the Korea Citation Index (KCI), which publishes the latest research trends and, in this case, trends in military studies. As a result, research is being conducted on various subjects. In particular, 63% (44) of these were found to be related to the construction of military power such as security cooperation, external situations, research and development, and defense reform. This study applied an unstructured data analysis method called text mining and attempted to analyze the subject of several papers from a more scientific perspective. Hence, it can be considered a study of great significance as it was able to provide an overall understanding of general research trends and trends in recent military studies.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors pointed out that the division of Korea by the American and the Soviet forces lessened the resources available to South Korea to create a national military and therefore, South Korea could not help but be totally dependent on the US forces when the Korean War started.
Abstract: Due to the fact that national independence was not achieved by Korea’s own effort but was a result of the end of the Second World War, there was no formal body which could be called the national military in Korea. To make matters worse, the division of Korea by the American and the Soviet forces lessened the resources available to South Korea to create a national military. Therefore, South Korea could not help but be totally dependent on the US forces when the Korean War started. During more than 40 years of military relationship, South Korea has increased its military capability with remarkable speed with the help of the United States and its own efforts. However, its military is still insufficient on its own to deter North Korea and the US—ROK combined forces continue to play a crucial role in its defence.
