TL;DR: An effective XML indexing technology for input/output process and retrieval of large amounts of data to exchange structured documents in the Internet space is presented and the Content Model was proposes to solve.
Abstract: Objectives: This paper presents an effective XML indexing technology for input/output process and retrieval of large amounts of data to exchange structured documents in the Internet space. Methods/Statistical Analysis: In these days, many data are produce in various forms by Web media, the Internet of Things, and social media. However, the data are too complicated in type and large to effectively analyze, search, and rapid input/output processing with the traditional Relational DB system. In this paper, we have looked to measure the document searching speed, document-writing speed in order to assess the performance of the XML Information Retrieval and management system using an index model. Many cases contain hundreds of millions of different elements of an XML document. In Keyword-based approach, it is necessary for all the elements in the document tagging to a quick search because it does not contain the structural information for the XML document to a query. Findings: The XML is a widely used mark-up language in Internet, and a large amount of data is produce in XML format. In this paper, we propose two search methods for efficient search in a large amount of data with the XML indexing technology. First, existing studies show the true performance to lean to one side in the keyword search of large XML documents have a problem. Both informal and formal data processing, the Content Model was proposes to solve. Non-structured data to a right processing and utilization as NoSQL View in a variety of devices for rapid processing of the user interface was couple to Data. N-Screen or the like can be used without Viewer from various mobile devices, as well as the task of processing that is used in a large variety of services can be advantageous. Improvements: This work can also extended with other searching algorithms for handling large amount of data

TL;DR: The clinical outcomes of the semi-circumferential decompression technique used for microsurgical en-bloc total ligamentum flavectomy with preservation of the facet joint in treating patients who have lumbar spinal stenosis with two-level degenerative spondylolisthesis are described and assessed.
Abstract: Introduction Despite technical developments in decompression without fusion, many studies still assert that instability could be increased in patients with spinal stenosis and lumbar degenerative spondylolisthesis after spinal decompression surgery without fusion. Thus, this study aimed to describe and assess the clinical outcomes of the semi-circumferential decompression (SCD) technique used for microsurgical en-bloc total ligamentum flavectomy with preservation of the facet joint in treating patients who have lumbar spinal stenosis with two-level degenerative spondylolisthesis. Methods We retrospectively analyzed the clinical and radiologic outcomes of 14 patients who had spinal stenosis with two-level Meyerding grade I degenerative spondylolisthesis. We evaluated improvements in back pain and radiating pain using a visual analogue scale (VAS) and the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI). We have also examined the occurrence of spinal instability on a radiological exam using slip percentage and slip angle. Results The mean VAS score of back pain and radiating pain has been determined to decrease significantly from 6.7 to 3.3 and from 8.6 to 2.7, respectively. Meanwhile, the ODI score significantly improved from 27.3 preoperatively to 9.8 postoperatively. Statistically significant change was not observed in the slip percentage in both upper and lower levels. Dynamic slip percentage, which is defined as the difference in the slip percentage between flexion and extension, also did not significantly change. No statistically significant change was found in the slip angle and dynamic slip angle. Conclusions SCD is a recommendable procedure that can improve clinical results. This procedure does not cause spinal instability when treating patients who have spinal stenosis with two-level degenerative spondylolisthesis.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the association between obstructive spirometry pattern and incident CKD development in a large-scale prospective cohort study and found that an increase of 0.1 in forced expiratory volume per 1 s (FEV1) to forced vital capacity (FVC) was associated with a decreased risk of CKD.
Abstract: Objective There have been limited studies on the relationship between obstructive spirometry pattern and the development of chronic kidney disease (CKD). We investigated the association between obstructive spirometry pattern and incident CKD development in a large-scale prospective cohort study. Methods We reviewed the data of 7960 non-CKD adults aged 40-69 years who participated in the Ansung-Ansan cohort, a prospective community-based cohort study. Prebronchodilation results for the ratio of forced expiratory volume per 1 s (FEV1) to forced vital capacity (FVC) were used as the primary exposure. The primary outcome was incident CKD, defined as the first event of an estimated glomerular filtration rate Results Over a mean follow-up period of 11.7 years, incident CKD developed in 511 subjects (6.4%). An increase of 0.1 in FEV1/FVC was associated with a decreased risk of incident CKD (HR 0.76, 95% CI 0.68 to 0.84, p Conclusion Decreased FEV1/FVC ratio was independently associated with an increased risk of incident CKD development, particularly in people without metabolic syndrome. Future studies need to be conducted to confirm these results.

TL;DR: Using hermeneutics to interpret meaning from student gestures, the authors identified three types of frequently used gestures: deictic, imageable, and depictive, which served either a social communication purpose (explaining, asking, insisting, and giving evidence) or science communication purposes (visualization and temporal or spatial).
Abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine middle school students’ gestures during a geological field trip. Previous research on gestures has focused on understanding human development and exploring students’ gestures can be helpful in improving understanding of students’ communication in learning environments. In this study, middle school students from a gifted education center engaged in fieldwork along the Hantan-River to learn about and explain river formation processes. Using hermeneutics to interpret meaning from student gestures, researchers identified three types of frequently used gestures: deictic, imageable, and depictive, which served either a social communication purpose (explaining, asking, insisting, and giving evidence) or science communication purposes (visualization and temporal or spatial). Researchers offer implications about the role of gestures for helping novice learners communicate geoscience content and about the potential for gestures to be used by educators as an instructional resource for learners.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors examine US objectives in Asia, the security arrangements made to achieve these objectives and the strategic significance of South Korea to the United States, and the way to guarantee South Korean security in the future.
Abstract: With the collapse of the Soviet Union, the United States achieved victory after more than 40 years of Cold War. Following the victory, the United States naturally adjusted its Asian strategy to suit the changed strategic environment. But the problem for South Korea is that the situation in Korea has not changed and needs the same attention as before. In this context, this chapter will examine US objectives in Asia, the security arrangements made to achieve these objectives and the strategic significance of South Korea to the United States. After a comparison of the strategies of the two governments, the way to guarantee South Korean security in the future will be analysed.
