TL;DR: In this paper, the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire and Sixteen Personality Factor questionnaire were employed in carrying out the study and significant differences were found between team and individual sports athletes on EPQ factor N indicating that team sports athletes were sociable and factor O of EPQ portraying individual sports athlete as having strong sense of obligation.
Abstract: The study utilized 4 sports namely: Basketball & Volleyball as team sports and Athletics (Track & Field) and Swimming as individual sports. All participants were males. Two personality inventories namely: Eysenck Personality Questionnaire and Sixteen Personality Factor questionnaire were employed in carrying out the study. A total of 96 male athletes and 24 male athletes were drawn as subject samples. The sample subjects were matched in age and educational qualifications. Utilizing mean, SD and t-test statistical techniques differences were found between athletes and nonathletes as well as team and individual sports athletes. Specifically significance differences occurred between athletes and non-athletes on 16 PF factor O. showing athletes to have strong sense of obligation and expectations of themselves. Significant differences also occurred between team and individual sports athletes on EPQ factor N indicating that team sports athletes were sociable and factor O of EPQ portraying individual sports athletes as having strong sense of obligation.

TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of ethane addition on propane pyrolysis at high temperatures was explained in terms of increased radical concentrations, especially hydrogen atoms and vinyl radicals, formed at high conversions.
Abstract: Pyrolysis of propane/argon mixture in the presence of trace quantities (0.1% and 0.9%) of ethane was investigated at reflected shock wave temperatures between 1200 and 2000K. Traces of ethane accelerated propane decomposition at high temperature. However, increase in the quantity of ethane added to propane/argon mixture did not result in the same increase of its accelerating influence. Ethylene, methane and acetylene were the main hydrocarbon reaction products, with small quantities of propylene and ethane detected only at lower temperatures. Below 1500K, addition of ethane slightly enhanced the yields of ethylene and methane at the expense of propylene and ethane respectively. The selectivity for acetylene increased with increasing temperature and with the decline of those for the other products. For none of the products, did the presence of ethane alter the relationship between product formation rates and temperature. The influence of ethane addition on propane pyrolysis at high temperatures was explained in terms of increased radical concentrations, especially hydrogen atoms and vinyl radicals, formed at high conversions. These accounted for the rapid acceleration of propane decomposition and the high yield of acetylene at high temperatures.

TL;DR: In this paper, the extent to which beneficiaries were satisfied with the implementation of the activities of Green River Project in communities of Niger Delta region of Nigeria was compared, and the results indicated that, out of the 16 activities studied, Bayelsa State beneficiaries are satisfied with nine, Rivers State followed with eight, while Imo State came last with two.
Abstract: This study compared the extent to which beneficiaries were satisfied with the implementation of the activities of Green River Project in communities of Niger Delta region of Nigeria. The stratified and random sampling methods were used in selecting a sample size of 270 beneficiaries of the Project. Data collection were done with the questionnaire. Analyses of data were achieved with means, analysis of variance and mean separation. Results indicated that, out of the 16 activities studied, Bayelsa State beneficiaries were satisfied with nine, Rivers State followed with eight, while Imo State came last with two. Bayelsa and Rivers States' satisfaction varied significantly from that of Imo State beneficiaries. The study recommends higher effort of the Project that would lead to increase in satisfaction among Imo State beneficiaries.
