Abstract: The purpose of this study was to assess the impact of information technology capability ofbankson customer patronage of quoted Banks in south-south zone of Nigeria. The studypopulationwere 14 quoted Banks which are functionally registered and listed with the NigerianStockExchange (NSE); Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and Nigeria deposit andinsurancecompany (NDIC) and our unit for data generation were the top level managers of theselectedbanks and customers of the chosen banks which were randomly selected. Furthermore, weconducted a census study since our population for the study is not large. Therefore, forty two(42)managers on the ratio of 3 managers per bank and seven (7) customers randomly selectedfromthe banks constituted our respondents for the study. Descriptively, the study variableswerepresented at the primary level of analysis. At the secondary level of analysis, the Pearson’sPartialCorrelation Coefficient was used to test the stated hypothesis in order to ascertain theextent towhich information technology capability of banks moderate the relationship betweenphysicalevidence and customer patronage. The result of the analysis showed that there is apositive andstatistically significant correlation between information technology and how it mediatetherelationship between physical evidence and customer patronage. Furthermore, thestudyconcludes that information technology capability of banks significantly moderate therelationshipbetween physical evidence and customer patronage. The authors thereforerecommended that thepanacea to poor customer patronage is predicated on the bank’s ability toefficiently adoptphysical evidence strategies while taking cognizance of information technologycapability since itsignificantly impact on their level of customer patronage.

TL;DR: It is strongly believed that the combination of the conventional method and the molecular assay or improvement of the molecular method may enhance detection of MTB in clinical samples especially in endemic regions where majority of the populace may be at risk.
Abstract: Increasingly pragmatic disease diagnosis is important for treatment as well as disease prevention and control strategy thus timely and accurate diagnostic outcome may help to prevent or reduce the negative consequences of the disease in the body and the population at large even as well as reduce mortality index cases in the affected community or region This study was carried out to determine an effective method for the detection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis MTB among suspected tuberculosis patients visiting the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital UPTH and the Braithwaite Memorial Specialist Hospital BMSH all in Port Harcourt Nigeria Some and sputum samples were collected from the UPTH and BMSH respectively making a total of samples The two methods explored were ZN Microscopy and the GeneXpert assay method Using GeneXpert Modules Thermal and Optical System Cepheid Serial Number USA and of the samples were positive for MTB in UPTH and BMSH respectively while microcopy detected and MTB samples from UPTH and BMSH respectively Four positive cases were detected by microscopy which was not detected by GeneXpert Nonetheless in overall the sensitivity of GeneXpert assay was higher than that of microscopy It is therefore strongly believed that the combination of the conventional method and the molecular assay or improvement of the molecular method may enhance detection of MTB in clinical samples especially in endemic regions where majority of the populace may be at risk due to seemingly poor living condition poverty and limited access to prompt health education and robust health facility nbsp

The reliability of the instrument was achieved by the use of the Crombach Alpha coefficient with all the items scoring above 0.70. The hypotheses were tested using the Spearman’s Rank Order Correlation Statistics. The tests were carried out at a 95% confidence interval and a 0.05 level of significance. Empirical findings revealed that affective job satisfaction positively and significantly influences employee productivity in manufacturing companies in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
