TL;DR: In this paper, the magnetorheological and magnetoviscous properties of ferrofluid-based iron particle suspensions were investigated, and the 2.1-µm mean size Fe particles were dispersed in high-concentration transformer oil-based ferro-fluid, the iron particle volume fraction in the resulting nano-micro composite magnetorefluid fluid samples varying from Φ 5 to 40 %.
Abstract: In this paper, the magnetorheological (MR) and magnetoviscous properties of ferrofluid-based iron particle suspensions were investigated. The 2.1-µm mean size Fe particles were dispersed in high-concentration transformer oil-based ferrofluid, the iron particle volume fraction in the resulting nano-micro composite magnetorheological fluid samples varying from Φ Fe = 5 to 40 %. The ferrofluid carrier has φ p = 23 % solid volume fraction of magnetic nanoparticles stabilized with chemisorbed oleic acid monolayer and without any excess surfactant. In the absence of the field, the ferrofluid has a quasi-Newtonian behavior with a weak shear thinning tendency. The static yield stress shows an increase of about 3 orders of magnitude for an iron particle content of approx. Φ Fe = 25 % (Φ tot = 42.25 %), while above this value, a saturation tendency is observed. The dynamic yield stress (Bingham model) also increases with the magnetic induction and the particle volume fraction; however, the saturation of the MR effect is less pronounced. The relative viscosity change has a maximum at Φ Fe = (10–15) % due to the accelerated increase of the effective viscosity of the composite for higher Fe content. Addition of micrometer-sized iron particles to a concentrated ferrofluid without any supplementary stabilizing agent proved to be a direct and simple way to control the magnetorheological and magnetoviscous behavior, as well as the saturation magnetization of the resulting nano-micro composite fluid to fulfill the requirements of their use in various MR control and rotating seal devices.

TL;DR: This paper confirms this observation with a quite surprising result: P systems with symport/antiport rules using only three objects can simulate any counter machine, while systems with only two objectsCan simulate any blind counter machine.
Abstract: The operations of symport and antiport, directly inspired frombiology, are already known to be rather powerful when used in the framework of P systems. In this paper we confirm this observation with a quite surprising result: P systems with symport/antiport rules using only three objects can simulate any counter machine, while systems with only two objects can simulate any blind counter machine. In the first case, the universality (of generating sets of numbers) is obtained also for a small number of membranes, four.

TL;DR: The main focus of the paper is on the construction of high order half-range Hermite lattice Boltzmann (HHLB) models, and it is found that the HHLB models require less quadrature points than the LLB models at all tested values of Kn, which is attributed to the Maxwellian form of the weight function for the half-Range Hermite polynomials.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors employed various bioinformatics tools to perform docking of the transitional metal complexes (Zn, Co, Cu, Fe, Ni) with cholic acid (AC) as ligand against Aurora A Kinase (RCSB Protein Data Bank code: 2X6E).
Abstract: Colorectal cancer is a malignant tumor, one of the main types of cancer which produces a large number of deaths each year in many countries around the world. The main objective of this work is to employ various bioinformatics tools to perform docking of the transitional metal complexes (Zn (II), Co (II), Cu (II), Fe (II), Ni (II)) with cholic acid (AC) as ligand against Aurora A Kinase (RCSB Protein Data Bank code: 2X6E). Molegro Virtual Docker (MVD) was used for the docking process. The molecular docking score and the values of the statistic parameter Root Mean Square Deviation (RMSD) are presented in Table 1. The results obtained in this study serve to design new complex combinations with potential action against Aurora A Kinase inhibitor.

TL;DR: A new approach to deal with neutrosphic shortest path problem in a network in which each edge weight (or length) is represented as triangular fuzzy neutrosophic number is developed.
Abstract: In this paper, we develop a new approach to deal with neutrosphic shortest path problem in a network in which each edge weight (or length) is represented as triangular fuzzy neutrosophic number. The proposed algorithm also gives the shortest path length from source node to destination node using ranking function. Finally, an illustrative example is also included to demonstrate our proposed approach.
