TL;DR: A failure analysis was conducted, identifying trends among user mistakes, and a summary of findings and a discussion of the implications of these findings were concluded.
Abstract: We analyzed transaction logs containing 51,473 queries posed by 18,113 users of Excite, a major Internet search service. We provide data on: (i) sessions — changes in queries during a session, number of pages viewed, and use of relevance feedback; (ii) queries — the number of search terms, and the use of logic and modifiers; and (iii) terms — their rank/frequency distribution and the most highly used search terms. We then shift the focus of analysis from the query to the user to gain insight to the characteristics of the Web user. With these characteristics as a basis, we then conducted a failure analysis, identifying trends among user mistakes. We conclude with a summary of findings and a discussion of the implications of these findings. # 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors provide a detailed and up-to-date description of the literature on the subject as well as highlighting challenges that must be overcome for the utilization of graphene deposited on copper substrates by chemical vapour deposition.
Abstract: The discovery of uniform deposition of high-quality single layered graphene on copper has generated significant interest. That interest has been translated into rapid progress in terms of large area deposition of thin films via transfer onto plastic and glass substrates. The opto-electronic properties of the graphene thin films reveal that they are of very high quality with transmittance and conductance values of >90% and 30Ω/sq, both are comparable to the current state-of-the-art indium tin oxide transparent conductor. In this Feature Article, we provide a detailed and up to date description of the literature on the subject as well as highlighting challenges that must be overcome for the utilization of graphene deposited on copper substrates by chemical vapour deposition.

TL;DR: In this article, two distinct integral equations for the pair correlation were derived, one treating both parts of the interaction approximately; the other one employing the repulsive reference system used in perturbation theory.
Abstract: The formalism of statistical thermodynamics developed in the preceding paper is used as a basis for deriving tractable approximations. The system treated is one where repulsion and highly directional attraction due to a single molecular site combine to allow the formation of dimers, but no highers-mers. We derive thermodynamic perturbation theory, using the system interacting with only the repulsive potential as a reference system. Two distinct integral equations for the pair correlation are derived. The first one treats both parts of the interaction approximately; the other one employs the repulsive reference system used in perturbation theory. We show that each of these integral equations permits the calculation of an important thermodynamic function directly from the solution at a single state of density and temperature. In the first case this applies to a pressure consistent with the compressibility relation, in the second to the excess Helmholtz free energy over the reference system.
