09 Jul 2012TL;DR: This paper compares some of the existing and newly proposed joint state particle filtering algorithms for the closely spaced target tracking problem and examines maximum a posteriori and minimum mean square error estimation outputs of four different algorithms.
Abstract: In this paper, we present an overview of the literature for particle filtering under measurement origin uncertainty with an emphasize on single scan data association algorithms. We compare some of the existing and newly proposed joint state particle filtering algorithms for the closely spaced target tracking problem. Both maximum a posteriori (MAP) and minimum mean square error (MMSE) estimation outputs of four different algorithms are compared. We also include MMSE outputs of a non-joint (independent) state particle filter and Kalman filter in the comparison as a baseline.

07 Nov 2013TL;DR: In this article, the authors characterized an electric detonator in which the two primary explosives (9, 10) and the secondary explosive (11) are arranged in layers, in an increasing degree of sensitivity, bearing one against the other.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an electric detonator (1) comprising a cap (2), comprising a priming charge (3) and an electrode (4), comprising a positive pole, a negative pole and a resistor element (8), the said priming charge (3) comprising at least two primary explosives, a first primary explosive (9) and a second primary explosive (10), and at least one secondary explosive (11). The electric detonator is characterized in that the two primary explosives (9, 10) and the secondary explosive (11) are arranged in layers, in an increasing degree of sensitivity, bearing one against the other, wherein the first primary explosive (9), constituting the most sensitive of the two primary explosives (9, 10), is arranged closest to the resistor element (8), and in that the second primary explosive (10) is arranged thereafter between the first primary explosive (10) and the secondary explosive (11). The invention also relates to a production method for the said electric detonator (1).

10 May 1999TL;DR: It is observed that the noise levels in all the Saab 2000 aircraft measured at the same flight condition are within a standard deviation of 0.2 dB of each other.
Abstract: Saab’s in-flight noise and vibration measurements have proven to be a very powerful tool to monitor the quality of the aircraft. For many years measurements have been performed in every aircraft leaving the factory. During each flight noise is measured in the entire cabin at several test conditions. For the Saab 2000 more than 100 flight tests of this kind have been performed resulting in a data base consisting of more than 500 measurements of the entire cabin. The same method has been applied to the Saab 340. Vibration levels are measured concurrently with noise. An efficient method is used to evaluate the noise and vibration data. The results from the noiseand vibration measurements are combined for diagnostic purposes. It is observed that the noise levels in all the Saab 2000 aircraft measured at the same flight condition are within a standard deviation of 0.2 dB of each other.

19 Apr 2015TL;DR: In this article, the effect of variations both in temperature cycling profile and in SAC305 solder Young's modulus in the PBGA256 package on the thermo-mechanical reliability was investigated.
Abstract: The paper investigates the effect of variations both in temperature cycling profile and in SAC305 solder Young's modulus in the PBGA256 package on the thermo-mechanical reliability. FE simulations quantify the effect of cycle reduction and counting techniques by introducing different temperature profiles having identical dwell- and period time characteristics. A difference of 30% in predicted accumulated creep strain energy density per cycle has been determined for the studied profiles. Under the provided modelling assumptions and simplifications, the maximum variation of the thermal fatigue life of SAC305 solder joints is within 30% as the result of experimentally determined Young's modulus variation in as-delivered packages.

04 Dec 2013TL;DR: In this paper, a container for packaging and storing ammunition units in tubes (3-6) was proposed, where T-shaped detonation protections are introduced to separate adjacent tubes ( 3-6), to prevent mass detonation.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a container (1 ) for packaging and storing ammunition units (3 '-6 ') in tubes (3-6) The invention also refers to a unit cargo (27) comprising such containers (1) and a method for packaging and storing such containers ( 1 ). According to the invention T-shaped detonation protections ( 13, 16) are introduced to separate adjacent tubes (3-6) in order to prevent mass detonation.
