28 Mar 2019TL;DR: A dispenser for storing and launching countermeasures from an aircraft, comprising an elongate body provided with at least one launch opening where the countermeasures are stored in cartridges, where the cartridges are interconnect to each other in a slidable manner, and where the adapters are adapted to be tilted by a tilting means to a selected angle, such that the openings of the cartridges can be directed in a selected direction as discussed by the authors.
Abstract: A dispenser for storing and launching countermeasures from an aircraft, comprising an elongate body provided with at least one launch opening where the countermeasures are stored in cartridges, where the cartridges are interconnect to each other in a slidable manner, and where the cartridges are adapted to be tilted by a tilting means to a selected angle, such that the openings of the cartridges can be directed in a selected direction. The advantage of the invention is that a countermeasure can be directed in a desired angle before it is launched.

17 Oct 2005TL;DR: In this article, a method for producing an article of composite material comprising the steps of providing a moulding tool (140) of male type, placing one or several prepregs (160) on the molding tool, forming a fibre stack, placing a dry layer (158), e.g. fabric, externally on the fibre stack and overturning or tilting the stack having a dry surface from the male tool to the female tool.
Abstract: A method for producing an article of composite material comprising the steps of:
- providing a moulding tool (140) of male type;
- placing one or several prepregs (160) on the moulding tool, forming a fibre stack;
- placing a dry layer (158), e.g. fabric, externally on the fibre stack, forming a fibre stack having a dry surface;
- providing a moulding tool of female type (150);
- overturning or tilting the stack having a dry surface from the male tool to the female tool.
The method may further comprise the step of arranging said dry fibre layer so that this comprises the edge of the fibre stack. The dry layer may be made of a metal net or other suitable metal structures, or be made of glass fibre fabric or another similar glass fibre structure, or a combination of glass fibre and metal. The fact that metal is an electrically conducting material and that glass fibre is an electrical isolator may be exploited, particularly when producing aircraft components.

09 May 2008TL;DR: In this paper, a method and an apparatus for conforming a blank (35) onto forming surface sections (3) of a forming tool (5) by drawing vacuum against an elastic vacuum bag (1) for transmitting forming forces from the vacuum bag to the blank, is presented.
Abstract: The present invention regards a method and an apparatus for conforming a blank (35) onto forming surface sections (3) of a forming tool (5) by drawing vacuum against an elastic vacuum bag (1) for transmitting forming forces from the elastic vacuum bag (1) to the blank (35), the elastic vacuum bag (1) comprises at least one bag section having a different stiffness than other bag sections. The at least one bag section is an elongated bag section (13', 13") having a stiffness larger than that of surrounding bag sections (15), the location of the elongated bag section (13', 13") of the elastic vacuum bag (1) corresponds, when the elastic vacuum bag (1) after said completion lies against the forming surface sections (3) having the blank (35) in between, with an elongated forming surface section (10) of the forming tool (5) where the blank (35) requires a forming force (F) being larger than that of the surrounding bag sections (15).

01 Sep 2021TL;DR: The MaLET model as discussed by the authors is a representation of the typical evolution path for companies who successfully adopt exploratory testing and provides a step-by-step approach to systematically improve exploratory test over time.
Abstract: Based on multiple series of interviews and workshops, this paper presents the MaLET model – a representation of the typical evolution path for companies who successfully adopt exploratory testing. The model provides a step-by-step approach to systematically improve exploratory testing over time, and shows how and why capabilities may regress. The MaLET model was validated through a series of interviews with 20 interviewees from eight case study companies in separate industry segments. The interviews also revealed examples on improvement initiatives that had failed in the companies, showing that improvement initiatives tend to fail if they are not planned in an order corresponding to the maturity levels in the model. The MaLET model was well received by the interviewees during the validation, describing the model as sound, relevant and useful in practice.
