TL;DR: In this article, a method for focusing signals measured by a scanning radar system comprising at least one antenna was proposed. But the radar system is adapted to transmit radar signals forming at least 1 antenna beam and to detect reflections of said at least single antenna beam caused by an object at a point of reflection.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for focusing signals measured by a scanning radar system (6; 17) comprising at least one antenna (7; 19). The radar system is adapted to transmit radar signals forming at least one antenna beam (9, 1 1; 20) and to detect reflections of said at least one antenna beam caused by an object (15; 22) at a point of reflection. The method comprises the step of calculating an updated radar signal (S U 1 ; S U 2 ; S U 3 ) based on at least one measured radar signal (S P 1 , S P 2 ; S P ) and an antenna pointing error signal (e 1 ; e 2) which is also calculated based on the at least one measured radar signal. Then a signal adapted filter (h 1; h 2; h 3) is calculated based on any or both of the characteristics of the at least one antenna and at least one measured reference radar signal, and, finally, a focused radar signal (S F 1 , S F 2 ; S F 3) is calculated by filtering the updated radar signal using the signal adapted filter.

TL;DR: In this article, an electro-optic sight for detecting incoming optical radiation is described, which comprises frontal optics through which radiation along the optical axis, the sight line (3) of the sight passes on its way to platform optics rigidly connected to the frontal optics, which platform optics guide the incoming radiation further to a detector unit (5) in which the incoming image is converted to a picture.
Abstract: An electro-optic sight, for detecting incoming optical radiation is described. It comprises frontal optics (1) through which radiation along the optical axis, the sight line (3) of the sight passes on its way to platform optics (2) rigidly connected to the frontal optics, which platform optics guide the incoming radiation further to a detector unit (5) in which the incoming radiation is converted to a picture. The electro-optical sight is primarily characterized in that the platform optics (2) are so arranged that, through turning about a first axis, yaw axis (7), and a second axis, pitch axis (8), they direct the optical axis for forwarding to the detector unit (5), the radiation being guided through a system of a first, second, third and fourth prism (13-16) through reflexion, said prisms being mounted in a common structure, which is turnable about the first axis, which coincides with the optical axis, that is said sight line (3), the first prism (13) being turnable relative to the second prism (14) about the second axis, which constitutes the direction of the optical axis reflected from the first prism.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed the first helicopter with removable fuel tanks, which can safely be stored on ships and aircraft carriers, where all fuel tanks of the helicopter are removable.
Abstract: The invention relates to helicopters with removable fuel tanks, wherein all fuel tanks of the helicopter are removable fuel tanks. Helicopters all fuel tanks of which are removable can safely be stored on ships and aircraft carriers.

TL;DR: An electrically steerable antenna arrangement comprising at least a first antenna function and a second antenna function, each antenna function having at least one main radiation lobe that is electrically steered, is presented in this article, where the antenna functions are arranged to send signal information to the second monitoring unit regarding the resulting signal fed to the antenna elements.
Abstract: An electrically steerable antenna arrangement comprising at least a first antenna function and a second antenna function, each antenna function comprising at least one antenna element, the antenna functions having at least one main radiation lobe that is electrically steerable, where each antenna function comprises at least one signal altering means arranged for altering the time characteristics and/or phase characteristics and/or frequency characteristics of a signal fed through the signal altering means, the electrically steerable antenna arrangement comprising a control unit arranged for feeding a signal comprising control information to the antenna functions via a control connection, the signal altering means being arranged to take certain settings in dependence of the control information, such that for certain settings of the signal altering means, a certain angular direction of said main radiation lobe in relation to an antenna reference plane is acquired. The electrically steerable antenna arrangement further comprises a first monitoring unit connected to the control connection, and a second monitoring unit connected to the antenna functions, the first monitoring unit being arranged to analyze the control information fed to the signal altering means and trigger a first alert via a first alert connection if there is a deviation which exceeds a first threshold, where furthermore the antenna functions are arranged to send signal information to the second monitoring unit regarding the resulting signal fed to said antenna elements, the second monitoring unit being arranged to analyze said signal information and to trigger a second alert via a second alert connection if there is a deviation which exceeds a second threshold.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe a method for communicating in a network comprising nodes, the method comprising broadcasting from a centre node, transmitting from a first primary peripheral node, and transmitting from an intermediate node to the centre.
Abstract: The present invention relates to nodes, network and method for communicating by means of radio in a network comprising nodes; in particular where the rate of information exchange is related to asymmetric capacity needs or hierarchic topologies. The invention addresses radio networking with broadcasting capability established by combining technologies for multiple access and radio networking. The invention describes a method for communicating in a network comprising nodes, the method comprising broadcasting from a centre node, transmitting from a first primary peripheral node, and transmitting from an intermediate node to the centre.
