25 Mar 2004TL;DR: In this article, a display system for a fighter aircraft including a helmet mounted display device and a helmet support unit is described, where the display device provides information on a visor (5a) of a helmet (5).
Abstract: A display system (1) in a fighter aircraft including a helmet mounted display device (2) and a helmet support unit (3). The helmet mounted display device (2) is arranged to provide information on a visor (5a) of a helmet (5). The helmet support unit (3) is arranged to interconnect the display system (1) with a system computer and a power source in the aircraft. The display system (1) is characterized in that the helmet support unit (3) includes a high voltage power supply and in that the helmet support unit (3) is arranged in a holder (8a) on the garment (8) of the pilot.

24 Oct 2008TL;DR: In this paper, a first transistor group and a second transistor group are connected such that they are arranged to be fed with at least one input signal, and such that output at least two currents.
Abstract: A circuit including a first transistor group and a second transistor group. The transistor groups are connected such that they are arranged to be fed with at least one input signal, and such that they are arranged to output at least two currents. At least two transistors are arranged to be biased in such a way that desired signal paths are obtained in the circuit, such that a desired output current ratio is obtained.

05 May 2017TL;DR: A dispenser for storing and launching countermeasures from an aircraft, comprising an elongate body provided with at least one launch opening where the countermeasures are stored in cartridges, where the cartridges are interconnect to each other in a slidable manner, and where the adapters are adapted to be tilted by a tilting means to a selected angle, such that the openings of the cartridges can be directed in a selected direction as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: A dispenser for storing and launching countermeasures from an aircraft, comprising an elongate body provided with at least one launch opening where the countermeasures are stored in cartridges, where the cartridges are interconnect to each other in a slidable manner, and where the cartridges are adapted to be tilted by a tilting means to a selected angle, such that the openings of the cartridges can be directed in a selected direction. The advantage of the invention is that a countermeasure can be directed in a desired angle before it is launched.

29 Sep 2020TL;DR: In this paper, a method for determining a synthetic aperture of a SAR system using information from a global navigation satellite system, GNSS, which includes a plurality of satellites each transmitting a radio frequency signal comprising a unique pseudo random number, PRN, is presented.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for determining a synthetic aperture of a synthetic aperture radar, SAR, system using information from a global navigation satellite system, GNSS, which includes a plurality of satellites each transmitting a radio frequency signal comprising a unique pseudo random number, PRN. The method comprises: receiving the radio frequency signal from a group of satellites in the GNSS, determining a first maximum correlation peak of the PRN of the received radio frequency signal from each satellite in the group of satellites, determining the phase shift between the first determined maximum correlation peak and a second determined maximum correlation peak of a received PRN from the same satellite at a later time, for each satellite in the group of satellites, determining a line-of-sight, LOS, movement of the SAR system relative each of the satellites in the group of satellites by means of the determined phase shift for each satellite in the group of satellites, and determining a synthetic aperture using the LOS movement relative each satellite in the group of satellites.

15 May 2014TL;DR: In this paper, a line-of-sight apparatus locking arrangement was proposed for demountable securing a line of sight apparatus (1, 1, 5) to said arrangement.
Abstract: The present invention regards a line-of-sight apparatus locking arrangement (3) for demountable securing a line-of-sight apparatus (1, 1', 5) to said arrangement (3). The arrangement (3) comprises a first and second locking device (11', 11", 12', 12"), each of which comprising a handle member (15) ) adapted for attachment to a rotation mechanism (17) coupled to a translation mechanism (25) adapted for, during manoeuvre of the locking device (11',11", 12', 12"), converting rotational motion into translator motion, each translation mechanism (25) comprises a pressing portion (27) provided for abutment against an abutment area (AA) of the apparatus (1, 1', 5).
