TL;DR: In this paper, a method of creating a termination map for an aircraft over an area of interest indicating the lowest allowable flight altitude to achieve a glide path of a vehicle to a termination point of the area-of-interest was proposed.
Abstract: A method of creating a termination map for an aircraft over an area of interest indicating the lowest allowable flight altitude to achieve a glide path of a vehicle to a termination point of the area of interest and a map of vectors of the area of interest indicating direction towards a termination point to control an unmanned vehicle.

TL;DR: A particle filter is developed which includes a data association technique based on joint probabilistic data association (JPDA) and a method for handling road constraints and the tracking of ground targets using acoustic sensors, distributed in a wireless network is studied.
Abstract: In this paper the tracking of ground targets using acoustic sensors, distributed in a wireless network, is studied. The solution to the tracking problem is given within the Bayesian recursive framework. A particle filter (PF) is developed which includes a data association technique based on joint probabilistic data association (JPDA) and a method for handling road constraints. Validation and evaluation of the tracking algorithms are performed using real data extracted from a ground sensor network. The tracking of the targets shows a satisfactory result.

TL;DR: A test method is proposed that incorporates exploratory testing as an activity in the continuous integration and delivery pipeline, and is based on elements from other testing techniques such as scenario-based testing, testing in teams and testing in time-boxed sessions.
Abstract: In this paper, we show how exploratory testing plays a role as part of a continuous integration and delivery pipeline for large-scale and complex software products. We propose a test method that incorporates exploratory testing as an activity in the continuous integration and delivery pipeline, and is based on elements from other testing techniques such as scenario-based testing, testing in teams and testing in time-boxed sessions. The test method has been validated during ten months by 28 individuals (21 engineers and 7 flight test pilots) in a case study where the system under test is a fighter aircraft. Quantitative data from the case study company shows that the exploratory test teams produced more problem reports than other test teams. The interview results show that both engineers and test pilots were generally positive or very positive when they described their experiences from the case study, and consider the test method to be an efficient way of testing the system in the case study.

TL;DR: In this article, a display method, a computer program for performing steps of the display method and a display system are presented, where a display processing device is arranged to process a first task set associated to a normal operation mode and in parallel process a second task sets associated to an emergency operation mode.
Abstract: The invention pertains to a display method, a computer program for performing steps of the display method and a display system. The display system (1) comprising: display means (2) comprising: a physical display unit (13)operable to display flight data,a display processing device (11), a graphics driver and a graphics processing device, fault detection means arranged to detect at least one fault condition associated to the display means (2). The display processing device is arranged to process a first task set associated to a normal operation mode and in parallel process a second task set associated to an emergency operation mode, wherein said display processing device is arranged to transmit information provided from the second task set to the graphics processing device in response to the detected at least one fault condition.
