Abstract: A countermass for use in a weapon to balance the forces arising when a launch able unit is launched from a launcher tube of the weapon. The countermass includes a first container enclosing a liquid. A countermass weapon includes a launcher tube open or openable in both ends. The launcher tube houses a launch able unit, a countermass including a first container enclosing a liquid, a pressure chamber, and a propellant charge that upon firing and combustion of the charge in cooperation with the pressure chamber and the countermass accelerates the launch able unit forwards in the tube at the same time as the countermass accelerates backwards in the tube. The first container is made of a non-rigid material. A second container is provided to cover or almost cover the first container. The second container is designed with damping characteristics.

Abstract: There is a growing understanding that privacy is an essential component of security. In order to decrease the probability of having data breaches, the design of information systems, processes and architectures should incorporate considerations related to both privacy and security. This incorporation may benefit from the offering of appropriate training. In this way, this paper intends to discuss how to better offer training while considering new developments that involve both multimedia production and the "gamification" of training. The paper suggests the use in conjunction of two frameworks: the EduPMO Framework, useful for the management of large scale projects that may involve a consortium of organizations developing multimedia for the offering of training, and the Game Development Framework, useful for the identification of the main components of the serious game for training on privacy by design to be developed as part of the training offering.

Abstract: An arrangement for transferring message based communications between separate disjunctive components. The arrangement includes at least two components. At least a first component is arranged to provide services to at least one second component and/or to an operator of the loosely coupled system. At least one message bus is arranged to perform real-time transfers of communications from/to the at least one first component to/from the at least one second component. The at least one message bus is connected to or integrated in an internal communication backbone arranged with a communication member for establishing outgoing communication links. A predetermined message based interface is arranged relative to each of the components and the at least one message bus such that all communications between the at least one first component and the at least one second component are defined in the same single standardized message language. A method for providing components in the arrangement and a platform including the arrangement.

Abstract: A jamming device on an object for jamming a target seeker arranged to generate an image of its surroundings and extract targets from the image. A laser is arranged to emit laser radiation at the target seeker so that the laser radiation is projected on the image. A modulator is disposed in connection with the laser and is arranged to modulate the intensity pattern of the laser radiation with the intent of manipulating the image in order to make it more difficult for the target seeker to extract the object as a target. The invention also includes a jamming method.

Abstract: A dispenser unit for countermeasures. A magazine for the countermeasures is removably arranged on the dispenser unit. A dispensing nozzle dispenses the countermeasures out of the magazine. A movable seal is arranged within the magazine. The seal in a first position covers the dispensing nozzle and in a second position opens the dispensing nozzle, such that the countermeasures may be dispensed through the dispensing nozzle when the seal is in the second position.
