TL;DR: In this paper, a heat sink (4) intended for mounting along the edge of an electrical circuit board (1) in order to cool heat-generating components (2) on the circuit board was designed.
Abstract: A heat sink (4) intended for mounting along the edge (3) on an electrical circuit board (1) in order to cool heat-generating components (2) on the circuit board. The heat sink (4) is designed with on the one hand a longitudinal slot (5) for mounting on the circuit board (1) and on the other hand a mounting flange (6) located in substantially the same plane as the slot (5). The design of this mounting flange (6) means that a circuit board (1) provided with a heat sink (4) can be mounted in guide tracks or equivalent in the same manner as a circuit board (1) without heat sink (4). The design of the heat sink (4) also means that the same heat sink (4) can be used for different circuit boards (1) and different components (2).

A device for the selective detection of objects, such as aircraft, missiles, helicopters and the like, by means of rays from the objects, preferably IR rays, comprising at least one detection unit (1). This device comprises at least two optical entrances arranged at a distance from each other on a sight line from the device to the object. The sensor unit (1) comprises at least one focusing means (15) for focusing the radiation on a focal plane. The detection unit is equipped with at least one detector element (16) sensitive to radiation and able to emit signals corresponding to the radiation. The device is adapted to scan variably an angle of view in azimuth and / or elevation. The device also comprises an evaluation unit (2) capable of receiving said signals. The invention is particularly characterized in that the evaluation unit (2) is adapted to select objects that seem to be of similar size with respect to the angle measured from the position of the device, first objects Big dimension is at a remote distance, such as aircraft etc., and on the other hand small dimensions of objects at a close distance, such as birds, by suppressing signals whose amplitude as a function of the azimuth or elevation angle swept is relatively large compared to signals having a relatively low intensity.
