TL;DR: In this article, the level of the surface of a product in a storage room by a radar level gauging system is calculated using an indicating unit adapted to receive at least one of the first level value signal and the second level signal for evaluating the current level value.
Abstract: Method and device for calculating the level of the surface of a product in a storage room by a radar level gauging system, which includes a first gauging device for calculating a first value of level and functionally separated from the first gauging device a second gauging device for calculating a second value of said level, wherein: a first signal is produced being dependent of a preset first threshold value of the level in the first gauging device, a first current level value signal is output from the first gauging device, a second signal is produced in dependence of a preset second threshold value of the level in the second gauging device, a second current level value signal is output from the second gauging device and the value of the current level of said surface is presented by an indicating unit adapted to receive at least one of the first level value signal and the second level value signal for evaluation of the current level value.

TL;DR: The statistical analysis based on bivariate distribution data organized into different intervals of magnitude can be an important tool to further understand the properties of the backscattered signal, which can be a valuable premise for change detection processing.
Abstract: This paper presents an analysis of pre-filtered clutter VHF SAR images. The image data are reorganized into sub-vectors based on the observation of the image-pair magnitude samples. Based on this approach, we present a statistical description of the SAR clutter obtained by the subtraction between two real SAR images. The statistical analysis based on bivariate distribution data organized into different intervals of magnitude can be an important tool to further understand the properties of the backscattered signal, which can be a valuable premise for change detection processing.

TL;DR: In this article, a wearable presentation device is arranged to present a geo-referenced three-dimensional map to the observer, which is further arranged to receive input from the observer so as to mark a new position of the target on the 3D map.
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a system for determining the position of a target. The system comprises a device for determining the position of an observer. The system further comprises a range and direction measuring device. The system even further comprises a coordinate determining module. The coordinate determining module is arranged to receive the position of the observer. The coordinate determining module is further arranged to receive information from the range and direction measuring device. The coordinate determining module is even further arranged to determine initial coordinates of the target based on the position of the observer and the received information from the range and direction measuring device. The system further comprises a wearable presentation device. The wearable presentation device is arranged to receive the determined initial coordinates of the target. The wearable presentation device is further arranged to present a geo-referenced three-dimensional map to the observer. The wearable presentation device is even further arranged to receive input from the observer so as to mark a new position of the target on the geo-referenced three-dimensional map. The wearable presentation device is also arranged to determine final coordinates of the target based on the marked new position of the target. The disclosure also relates to a method, a computer program and a computer program product for determining the position of a target. The disclosure also relates to a system, a method, a computer program and a computer program product for targeting.

TL;DR: This work proposes a method for remote operation of a USV, where the operator uses Virtual Reality (VR) to comprehend the surrounding environment, and designs a Graphical User Interface (GUI) that guides the operator through the navigation process.
Abstract: An unmanned ship can be designed without considering humancomfort, and can thus be constructed lighter, smaller and less expensive. It can carry out missions in rough terrain or be in areaswhere it would be dangerous for a human to operate. By not havingto support a crew, lengthy missions can be accepted, enabling, e.g.reconnaissance missions, or reducing emissions by lowering thespeed.Breakthroughs with autonomous systems enable more advancedunmanned surface vessels (USVs), but to be able to handle complexmissions in a dynamic environment, a human operator is stillassumed an effective decision maker. Thus, we propose a methodfor remote operation of a USV, where the operator uses VirtualReality (VR) to comprehend the surrounding environment. Greatimportance has been given to the ability to perform safe navigation,by designing a Graphical User Interface (GUI) that guides the operatorthrough the navigation process, by presenting the importantinformation at the right place in the right orientation.
