TL;DR: In this article, a connection arrangement for connecting a roof part (100) with a car body (200) and a method for assembling the connection arrangement is presented, where the roof part has a roof sub portion (110) for connection with the car body and a roof main portion (120), wherein the roof main part (120) has an exterior side (122) and an interior side (124).
Abstract: The present invention relates to a connection arrangement for connecting a roof part (100) with a car body (200) and to a method for assembling the connection arrangement. The roof part (100) has a roof sub portion (110) for connection with the car body (200) and a roof main portion (120), wherein the roof main portion (120) has an exterior side (122) and an interior side (124), wherein the roof sub portion (110) has a first side (112) for connection with the car body (200) and a second side (114), and wherein the roof sub portion (110) is bent around an angle (±) towards the interior side (124), so that the second side (114) faces the interior side (124).

TL;DR: In this article, an automotive gearbox has an input shaft (10) to a clutch to a drive shaft, and a third shaft (14) parallel to the first two, where the output shaft (12) has seven cogs of which five are fixed to the input shaft, while the other two cogs rotate on the shaft.
Abstract: An automotive gearbox has an input shaft (10) to a clutch to a drive shaft. One output shaft (12) is located parallel to the input shaft and thence to the vehicle drive wheels (22, 24), and a third shaft (14) parallel to the first two. The gearbox has six forward gears. The input shaft (10) has no more than five cogs of which two (26, 28) are fixed to the shaft and operate in the first and second gears. The other cogs turn on the shaft. The output shaft (12) has seven cogs of which five are fixed to the shaft (12), while the other two cogs (48, 50) rotate on the shaft. The third shaft (14) has two or three cogs, of which one (54, 74) is fixed to the shaft, and one or more (56, 76, 78) rotate on the shaft.

TL;DR: In this paper, two intercomparison campaigns among different European measurement systems, using the 12 GHz Validation Standard (VAST12) antenna, were carried out, and the results are analyzed by each institution combining the measurement results in near or far field and extracting from these measurements: a best pattern, an evaluation of possible sources of errors (i.e., reflections, mechanical and electrical uncertainties) and an estimation of the items of the uncertainty budget.
Abstract: Within the European Union network "Antenna Center of Excellence" – ACE (2004-2007), two intercomparison campaigns among different European measurement systems, using the 12 GHz Validation Standard (VAST12) antenna, were carried out. These campaigns are described in the companion paper “Dedicated measurement campaign for definition of accurate reference pattern of the VAST12 antenna”. The second campaign was performed by Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in Denmark, SAAB Microwave Systems in Sweden and Technical University of Madrid (UPM) in Spain. This campaign consisted of a large number of measurements with slightly different configurations in each of the three institutions (2 spherical near field systems and one compact range). The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the accuracy of the different facilities using this large number of acquisitions. The acquisitions were performed systematically varying in applied scanning scheme, measurement distances, signal level and so on. The results are analyzed by each institution combining the measurement results in near or far field and extracting from these measurements: a “best” pattern, an evaluation of possible sources of errors (i.e. reflections, mechanical and electrical uncertainties) and an estimation of the items of the uncertainty budget.
