TL;DR: Verbrennungsmotor with variabler kompression as mentioned in this paper, a.k.a. variable kompressionsmodifizierende kippbewegung zwischen dem Zylinder aufnehmenden Teil (6) and dem Kurbelgehauseteil (2) bei laufendem motor auftritt.

TL;DR: The functional decomposition methodology forms the basis for how to design system behavior in the systems engineering literature, but this design approach has inherent weaknesses that do not allow for requirement sets to be both complete and design agnostic.

TL;DR: A framework that uses computational simulation to improve the performance of unmanned aerial vehicles through the creation and the selection of better navigation rules will be discussed, and the approaches known as Participatory Learning System and Genetic Algorithm will be combined.
Abstract: DOI: 10.14684/intertech.13.2014.84-88 This paper discusses a framework that uses computational simulation to improve the performance of unmanned aerial vehicles through the creation and the selection of better navigation rules. For such task, the approaches known as Participatory Learning System and as Genetic Algorithm will be combined. The intent is to provide the mathematical and computational structure to enable unmanned aerial vehicle learning from simulation experiences. Index Terms - Genetic Algorithm, Matlab, Participatory Learning System, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle.

TL;DR: In this paper, the results from NOPEX-measurements over boreal forests using an helicopter-borne multi-band radar profiler are presented for tree height profiling responses at three different frequency bands (5, 14 and 35 GHz).
Abstract: In this paper, results are presented from NOPEX-measurements over boreal forests using an helicopter-borne multi-band radar profiler. Comparisons are made between tree height profiling responses at three different frequency bands (5, 14 and 35 GHz). Values derived from radar profiles are also compared with maximum tree-height and stem volume per ha derived from ground-based measurements made in circular plots below the flight track.

TL;DR: In this paper, an adaptive recursive algorithm based on a simple two-sensor system for accurate estimation of the incident angle of a radar reflecting object or alternatively an active emitter is proposed.
Abstract: An adaptive Recursive algorithm based on a simple two sensor system for accurate estimation of the incident angle of a radar reflecting object or alternatively an active emitter is proposed. The overall objective is to find a low complexity method, which provides high resolution estimates and which is capable of adapting to a time varying scenario. Time delay estimation is followed by calculation of the actual incident angle. The considered simple system, comprised of two sensors only, is less complex and requires less computational power than does an array based receiver with possibly several antenna elements. An adaptive Lagrange interpolator is incorporated in order to obtain time delay estimates with a high resolution, in fractions of a sample. The possible performance of the proposed scheme is compared to time-varying lower CRB's, which are also derived here.
