TL;DR: In this article, a rear seat in a passenger car comprises folding back-cushions (25,26), which are pivable from back inclination position into loading position either independently of the frame or together with the frame.
Abstract: A rear seat (1) in a passenger car comprises folding back-cushions (25,26). Behind the back-cushions (25,26) is a frame (38) arranged to support the back-cushions (25,26) in the normal back inclination position, in order to constitute a safety-belt fixing point and in order to constitute load-shifting protection against any loads in the baggage space of the car which might slide. The back-cushions (25,26) are pivotably mounted on the frame (38) and the frame (38) is pivotably mounted on the body floor (7). The back-cushions (25,26) are thus pivotable from back inclination position into loading position either independently of the frame (38) or together with the frame (38).

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present an automated solution for manufacturing composite products based on prepreg, which is referred to as Automatic Fiber Placement or Automatic Tape Laying (ATL).
Abstract: Automated solutions for manufacturing composite products based on prepreg often imply Automatic Fiber Placement or Automatic Tape Laying. These systems are generally associated with huge investment ...

TL;DR: In this article, a circuit for a radar level gauge for measuring the level of the surface of a product stored in a container, wherein the gauge includes a radar for transmitting microwave signals from a multiband antenna unit towards the surface for receiving microwave signals reflected by the surface and for determining the level based on an evaluation of the time lapsed between the received and the transmitted signals and said radar operating on at least two different frequency bands.
Abstract: A circuit for a radar level gauge for measuring the level of the surface of a product stored in a container, wherein the gauge includes a radar for transmitting microwave signals from a multiband antenna unit towards the surface for receiving microwave signals reflected by the surface and for determining the level based on an evaluation of the time lapsed between the received and the transmitted signals and said radar operating on at least two different frequency bands. The circuit includes: a first microwave provision means for providing a microwave signal of a first frequency band having a first center frequency, a second microwave provision means for providing a microwave signal of a second frequency band having a second center frequency. The ratio between the second and the first center frequency is quantified as at least greater than 1.5:1 and preferably greater than 2:1. Switches are operated by means of a control signal for switching the circuit to operate on said first frequency band or said second frequency band.

TL;DR: This manuscript is aimed to present various Swedish research activities planned to provide the necessary knowledge to improve the electromagnetic requirements/susceptibility level against IEMI threats of future digital and electronic components used on different critical infrastructures system.
Abstract: IEMI is not a new research topic especially for military applications. However, not much attention has been paid in the past to the possibility that this type of threat could be used against civilian critical infrastructure by terrorist groups or other rough elements. Moreover, just a few research programs, mainly conducted in the U.S., have been reported combining power systems and high altitude nuclear high-altitude electromagnetic (HEMP) pulse. The present manuscript is aimed to present various Swedish research activities planned to provide the necessary knowledge to improve the electromagnetic requirements/susceptibility level against IEMI threats of future digital and electronic components used on different critical infrastructures system.
