TL;DR: In this paper, a load impedance decision device, a wireless power transmission device, and a wireless Power Transmission method are provided, where at least one of a distance and an angle between two resonators may be measured.
Abstract: A load impedance decision device, a wireless power transmission device, and a wireless power transmission method are provided. At least one of a distance and an angle between two resonators may be measured. A load impedance may be determined based on at least one of the measured distance and the measured angle. When the distance between the two resonators changes, a high power transfer efficiency may be maintained without using a separate matching circuit. Where the load impedance is determined, a test power may be transmitted. Depending on a power transfer efficiency of the test power, the load impedance may be controlled and power may be wirelessly transmitted from the source resonator to the target resonator.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a method for providing a plurality of active regions on a substrate, and at least a first device isolation layer between two of the plurality of the active regions, where each of the first gate line and second gate line crossing at least one active region.
Abstract: A method includes providing a plurality of active regions on a substrate, and at least a first device isolation layer between two of the plurality of active regions, wherein the plurality of active regions extend in a first direction; providing a gate layer extending in a second direction, the gate layer forming a plurality of gate lines including a first gate line and a second gate line extending in a straight line with respect to each other and having a space therebetween, each of the first gate line and second gate line crossing at least one of the active regions, providing an insulation layer covering the first device isolation layer and covering the active region around each of the first and second gate lines; and providing an inter-gate insulation region in the space between the first gate line and the second gate line.

TL;DR: It can be concluded that the AgNW/cellulose papers with high flexibility and low density can be used as electrically conductive components and EMI shielding elements in advanced application areas.
Abstract: We fabricated silver nanowire (AgNW)-coated cellulose papers with a hierarchical structure by an efficient and facile dip-coating process, and investigated their microstructures, electrical conductivity and electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding effectiveness. SEM images confirm that AgNWs are coated dominantly on the paper surfaces, although they exist partially in the inner parts of the cellulose papers, which demonstrates that the AgNW density gradually decreases in thickness direction of the AgNW/cellulose papers. This result is supported by the anisotropic apparent electrical conductivity of the AgNW/cellulose papers depending on in-plane or thickness direction. Even for a AgNW/cellulose paper obtained by a single dip-coating cycle, the apparent electrical conductivity in the in-plane direction of 0.34 S/cm is achieved, which is far higher than the neat cellulose paper with ∼10–11 S/cm. In addition, the apparent electrical conductivity of the papers in the in-plane direction increases significa...

TL;DR: In this paper, a system and method using precise geographical location information such as Global Positioning System coordinate data is utilized as a principal criterion for implementing other wireless transmitted instructions and communications advising vehicles, and others, of an approaching emergency vehicle, the proximity of a hazardous condition, or virtually any other situation which is relevant to the intended recipient because of their location.
Abstract: There is disclosed a system and method wherein precise geographical location information such as Global Positioning System coordinate data is utilized as a principal criterion for implementing other wireless transmitted instructions and communications advising vehicles, and others, of an approaching emergency vehicle, the proximity of a hazardous condition, or virtually any other situation which is relevant to the intended recipient because of their location. The system and method further can involve intervention and control of a vehicle, such as an aircraft or automobile, which comes into a predetermined location or area, or under other circumstances. The system and method use transmitting units and receiving units, both of which can receive geographical positioning information and which may sound or otherwise output an appropriate advisory, warning or other communication selected based on their positions, heading, and/or speed.
