TL;DR: In this paper, a porous metal organic framework (MOF) including an open metal site and a guest species capable of charge transfer that can coordinate with the MOF is constructed, wherein the composition is electrically conductive.
Abstract: A composition including a porous metal organic framework (MOF) including an open metal site and a guest species capable of charge transfer that can coordinate with the open metal site, wherein the composition is electrically conductive. A method including infiltrating a porous metal organic framework (MOF) including an open metal site with a guest species that is capable of charge transfer; and coordinating the guest species to the open metal site to form a composition including an electrical conductivity greater than an electrical conductivity of the MOF.

TL;DR: Inverted organic photovoltaic devices based on a blend of poly(3-hexylthiophene) and a fullerene have been developed by inserting a solution-processed ZnO interlayer between the indium tin oxide (ITO) electrode and the active layer using Ag as a hole-collecting back contact as discussed by the authors.
Abstract: Inverted organic photovoltaic devices based on a blend of poly(3-hexylthiophene) and a fullerene have been developed by inserting a solution-processed ZnO interlayer between the indium tin oxide (ITO) electrode and the active layer using Ag as a hole-collecting back contact. Efficient electron extraction through the ZnO and hole extraction through the Ag, with minimal loss in open-circuit potential, is observed with a certified power conversion efficiency of 2.58%. The inverted architecture removes the need for the use of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) as an ITO modifier and for the use of a low-work-function metal as the back contact in the device.

TL;DR: In this paper, extensive molecular dynamics simulations are performed on a glass-forming Lennard-Jones mixture to determine the nature of the cooperative motions occurring in this model fragile liquid, and they observe stringlike cooperative molecular motion (''strings'') at temperatures well above the glass transition.
Abstract: Extensive molecular dynamics simulations are performed on a glass-forming Lennard-Jones mixture to determine the nature of the cooperative motions occurring in this model fragile liquid. We observe stringlike cooperative molecular motion (``strings'') at temperatures well above the glass transition. The mean length of the strings increases upon cooling, and the string length distribution is found to be nearly exponential.

TL;DR: In this paper, a linear theory of elastic materials with voids is presented, which differs significantly from classical linear elasticity in that the volume fraction corresponding to the void volume is taken as an independent kinematical variable.
Abstract: A linear theory of elastic materials with voids is presented. This theory differs significantly from classical linear elasticity in that the volume fraction corresponding to the void volume is taken as an independent kinematical variable. Following a discussion of the basic equations, boundary-value problems are formulated, and uniqueness and weak stability are established for the mixed problem. Then, several applications of the theory are considered, including the response to homogeneous deformations, pure bending of a beam, and small-amplitude acoustic waves. In each of these applications, the change in void volume induced by the deformation is determined. In the final section of the paper, the relationship between the theory presented and the effective moduli approach for porous materials is discussed. In the two year period between the submission of this manuscript and the receipt of the page proof, there have been some extensions of the results reported here. In the context of the theory described, the classical pressure vessel problems and the problem of the stress distribution around a circular hole in a field have uniaxial tension have been solved [19,22]. The solution given in the present paper for the pure bending of a beam when the rate effect of the theory is absent is extended to case when the rate effect is present in [21]. The various implications of the rate effect in the void volume deformation are pursued all the subsequent works [19,20,21,22].
