Problemas de comportamento: um panorama da área

Abstract: The terminology behavior problems brings serious difficulties due to its definition, classification and diagnostic, because it interferes not only with the analysis of the behaviors considered deviants but also the necessary interventions to avoid and/or terminate them either in the clinical or educational context. It is possible to verify the existence of distinctive groups of theorists employing the term behavioral problem. On one hand, there are the medical or biological model dealing with the subject primarily in terms of symptoms. On the other hand, there are authors that perceive the category in a more functional way, by evaluating not only behavioral deficits, but also behavioral precedents. One can assume, that an analysis of both views is possible through an unifying comprehension of the term, considering both, the indicatives of behavioral problems and its functional analysis. Therefore, this work has as its objective to present both views organized in relation to definitions, characteristics, determining factors, diagnostic, and treatment of the behavior problem category.

Promovendo habilidades sociais educativas parentais na prevenção de problemas de comportamento

Abstract: Given the importance of intervening in children’s and adolescents’ behavior problems, several intervention programs with parents were developed. This study aim to describe effects of a group intervention based on multiple evaluations and instruments that attempted to improve parental social competence and prevent behavior problems. Twelve mothers/fathers of children and adolescents and two mothers with adult children participated in the parenting program. Data collection for pre and pos-intervention evaluations and follow up investigated parental social educational skills (HSE-P), general social skills and behavior problems. During group sessions various themes about HSE-P were discussed, such as expressing positive feelings, having conversation, negotiating, establishing rules, and others. Results showed that the frequency of HSE-P and social skills improved whereas behavior problems decreased. Limitations and contributions of this research are presented.

A dimensão teórica do tratamento temático da informação e suas interlocuções com o universo científico da International Society for Knowledge Organization (ISKO)

Abstract: Considerando a posicao nuclear do Tratamento Tematico da Informacao (TTI) no universo da Ciencia da Informacao, dada sua natureza mediadora entre a producao e o uso da informacao, observa-se que a construcao de seu referencial teorico-metodologico, enquanto area de estudos vem ocorrendo notadamente a partir de tres correntes: a da catalogacao de assunto (subject cataloguing), de influencia norte-americana, a da indexacao (indexing), de influencia inglesa e a da analise documentaria (analyse documentaire), de influencia francesa. Nesse contexto, analisam-se as bases historico-conceituais de cada uma delas, buscando identificar em que medida as mesmas encontram abrigo e espaco de interlocucao no contexto da organizacao do conhecimento, especialmente no universo academico da International Society for Knowledge Organization (ISKO), de modo a contribuir para as reflexoes acerca do processo de construcao da base epistemologica dessa area de estudos.

Competência em informação e os contextos educacional, tecnológico, político e organizacional

Abstract: Nowadays Information Literacy is studied in different contexts in society. So an article which demonstrates the main influences of this literacy contributes to the construction of researcher and general pubic complex thought. This paper has the following research problem: how does information literacy influences in the different social contexts? There were chosen the main influence to provide an amplified vision about the subject however; a research that show not all perspectives of a knowledge is possible. As methodological procedures, this article introduces an investigative research based on a literature review. As a final consideration, information literacy is present in policy, since it is a factor that allows exercise of citizenship; it is also present at schools developing students’ learning. In addition, it is necessary to use technology and it is a strategy for competitiveness in organizations.

Avaliação da qualidade da água em duas represas e uma lagoa no municipio de ilha solteira (sp)

Abstract: The objective of this study was to evaluate the water quality in the Lagoinha and Ipe reservoirs and Pedreira Lake, water bodies that were introduced in the city limits of Ilha Solteira during the period of July, 2004, to March, 2005.Based on Water Quality Rate findings and correlation analyses and seasonality of the combined physical, chemical, and biological parameters collected in the field, it was found that the effects of the main anthropic activities (irrigated agriculture and watering of livestock) in the area surrounding these bodies of water provoked an increase in the levels of fertilizer factors (phosphorous and nitrogen) as well as concentrations of total coliforms. Strong evidence was also detected, via “in loco” observations, of degradation of the riparian zones of the three bodies of water, noted mainly through the occurrence of silting in areas near their outlets and soil erosion on the banks, as well as the complete lack of ciliary vegetation.

Estudo de reações expansivas em argamassas de cimento portland com cinza de casca de arroz (cca)

Abstract: Rice husk is an agroindustrial residue which, when adequately burned and ground, may become an important pozzolan to be added in mortars. One factor contributing to the feasibility of its use is that of the 10 million tons of rice produced annually in this country, two million tons of husk remain, which can produce about 400 thousand tons of ash - enough to supply the market for mortars, concrete and others. This large amount of material has become an environmental problem because it is being discarded inappropriately. Seeking a viable use of rice husk ash in the civil construction, the present research studies the variation in mortar behavior with different levels of RHA (Rice Husk Ash). Prismatic specimens were used, measuring 25x25x285mm, moulded with 0% (reference), 5%, 10% and 25% RHA. The influence of the RHA’s was verified through the following tests: efficiency of pozzolanic materials in avoiding expansion and alkali-aggregate reaction. The result obtained in the expansion reduction test (NBR 12651) showed that RHA reduces considerably the expansion of mortars due to reaction with the alkalis in the cement (94.29%), with the minimum reduction required by the norm for a pozolan being 75%. Although the expansion values in the alkali-aggregate reaction test (ASTM C-1260) remained above the limit allowed to consider the material innocuous, RHA levels of 5% as well as 10% obtained better results (expanded less) then the reference line.

A evolução epistemológica do conceito de avaliação documental na arquivística e sua importância para a construção da memória

Abstract: Este trabalho revisita o conceito e o processo de avaliacao documental e sua influencia na construcao da memoria. Apresenta uma analise nas relacoes entre a memoria e os sistemas de arquivos, bem como a materialidade dessa memoria, o documento. Realiza uma revisao epistemologica na literatura Arquivistica a fim de comparar correntes de pensamentos classicas e pos-modernas, acerca da avaliacao documental e do conceito de Macroavaliacao proposto por Terry Cook, tambem reflete sobre a neutralidade dos arquivistas no referido processo. Conclui que a avaliacao documental pode ser considerada como um dos elementos responsaveis pela construcao da memoria institucional ou social, uma vez que garante o encaminhamento dos documentos de valor historico ao arquivo permanente contribuindo com a formacao do patrimonio arquivistico, e ainda que o arquivista emprega, consciente ou inconscientemente, seus atributos pessoais e profissionais na execucao das suas tarefas, portanto, nao pode ser considerado um profissional neutro ou imparcial.

Análise da qualidade da água por metodologia estatística multivariada na represa velha (cepta/ibama/pirassununga/sp)

Abstract: Innumerable difficult questions appear during the planning, construction and post-construction phases of reservoirs which must be approached from an interdisciplinary perspective, with the sediment deposition process being particularly important. With the purpose of analyzing the limnological depositional behavior of a set of variables, this study was carried out during the years 1998 and 2000, in the “Velha” reservoir, the Center for Research and Management of Continental Fishing Resources (CEPTA/IBAMA), in the city of Pirassununga (SP). This dam supplies 128 tanks and fisheries for pisciculture, where 6 water sampling points were established; samples were collected in dry as well as the rainy seasons. Some water quality variables were determined in the samples collected. The data was submitted to the statistical multivariate method of cluster analysis demonstrating that in the dry season, the parameters behaved differently when compared to the same parameters in the rainy season. In the latter, although the number of groupings was the same as for the dry period, alterations in the nature of the grouped parameters were observed. Thus, the phosphate radicals and total phosphorus were directly related to the suspended material in the water of the reservoir studied in the dry season, while the same was not observed in the rainy season. The depositional effect in the rainy season was more disperse among the collection points compared to that verified in the dry period.

Adaptação da EAH para população de surdos falantes de LIBRAS

Abstract: The aim of the present study was to adapt the Analogic Mood Scale for hearing impaired individuals speaking Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS) and talking by the finger alphabet, yielding a bilingual scale. The sample of Study was composed of 15 hearing impaired individuals talking by the finger alphabet and LIBRAS and 40 normal hearing individuals aged 11 to 18 years of both genders. After previous training, the participants filled a version of the scale according to the characteristics of their group, in Portuguese or in LIBRAS. The scales were applied in group. The results showed that both versions of the analogue mood scale were equivalent, because no-statistical significant differences in the total index and in the components of the scale (anxiety, physical sedation and mental sedation) were related. The only factor presenting statistically significant difference was the presence of other feelings. Such results suggest the possibility of use of this scale for studies of anxiety among hearing impaired patients.

Fungus-growing ants (Hymenoptera: Formicidae) on Santa Catarina Island, Brazil: patterns of occurrence.

Abstract: A taxonomic survey on fungus-growing ants (Attini) was made at 14 beaches on Santa Catarina Island (SC), Brazil. The samplings were manual, in soil or litterfall, in the following habitats: sandy beach, herbaceous vegetation and shrubby vegetation. From 12 species of Attini (ten of Acromyrmex Mayr and two of Cyphomyrmex Mayr), the most frequent were Cyphomyrmex morschi Emery and Acromyrmex crassispinus Forel, collected, respectively, on eight and ten of the monitored beaches. Altogether, Sorensen's similarity coefficients were high (range: 0.59-0.80), in spite of the lower numbers of ant species on sandy beaches.

Toyotismo e subjetividade: as formas de desefetivacao do trabalho vivo no capitalismo global

Abstract: O objetivo deste ensaio e destacar e como o toyotismo, considerado por nos como a ideologia orgânica da nova producao de mercadorias, consegue, atraves de seus dispositivos organizacionais (e institucionais), promover a “captura” da subjetividade do trabalho. Destacaremos o vinculo entre toyotismo e precarizacao da subjetividade do trabalho atraves da analise de uma pesquisa sobre a disseminacao do estresse nos locais de trabalho no Brasil.

O projeto genoma humano e os perigos do determinismo reducionista biológico na explicação do comportamento: uma análise behaviorista radical

Abstract: The Human Genome Project began in 1990 with the task of mapping the genes that would compose the human genetic code. Recently, the general coordinator of the Cancer Genome Project in Brazil, suggested the existence of a set of genes responsible for criminal behavior, discarding the relevant role of environmental variables (ontogenetic and cultural). The present essay aims to discuss the origin and pertinence of the biologic reductionist determinism in the explanation of behavior. It was identified a long tradition in the occidental thought to search, in the organic basis, for a strictly biological explanation for human actions, specially for those considered socially problematic. Such tradition is confronted to Skinner's model of selection by consequences and to the description of experiments showing the collective action of the phylogenetic and ontogenetic determinants in behavior. The limits of an entirely genetic explanation of action and the social and political risks of its dissemination are discussed.

A Tomada de Consciência da Crise de Identidade Profissional em Professores do Ensino Fundamental 1

Abstract: Este trabalho investigou se professores do II Ciclo do Ensino Fundamental (5a a 8a series) de uma escola paulista tem consciencia de suas funcoes e responsabilidades como professores, como avaliam a crise da profissao docente, descrita na bibliografia educacional, e se estao conscientes dessa crise com seus determinantes. A pesquisa recorreu a estudos que tratam da identidade, dos saberes e das dificuldades do professor, utilizando como suporte teorico para a analise a teoria de Jean Piaget do desenvolvimento cognitivo e da tomada de consciencia. Foram entrevistados 12 professores com base em um roteiro semi-estruturado, tendo como eixo tematico as caracteristicas e consciencia da crise de identidade docente. A partir de analise qualitativa e quantitativa, foi possivel estabelecer niveis distintos da tomada de consciencia dessa crise: Nivel I. Consciencia elementar ou periferica da crise de identidade profissional; Nivel II. Consciencia incipiente da crise de identidade profissional e Nivel III. Consciencia refletida da crise de identidade profissional. Concluiu-se que a tomada de consciencia da crise de identidade profissional docente nao se mostra repentina, nem consiste em um processo de “iluminacao”, mas se revela em certos niveis hierarquicos. E para que os professores atinjam o terceiro nivel de consciencia, devem ter refletido sobre as reais causas dos acontecimentos e dos problemas, percebendo os elementos centrais da situacao em detrimento dos seus elementos perifericos.

O ensino médio no Brasil: trajetória e perspectivas de uma organização politécnica entre educação e trabalho

Abstract: O objetivo deste artigo e apresentar uma breve analise e interpretacao da trajetoria do ensino medio no Brasil, de onde emerge a ideia da relacao entre educacao e trabalho, entre teoria e pratica, e sua organizacao nos moldes do ensino politecnico, este ultimo que havia orientado a proposta preliminar para o ensino medio apresentada por Dermeval Saviani, em 1988. Nesse sentido, foram abordadas questoes sobre educacao e trabalho. Finalmente, foram feitas breves consideracoes sobre o tema no contexto educacional “para alem do capital”.

O Modelo “Grupo Prático de Deslocamentos” em Psicologia e Epistemologia Genéticas e sua Formalização

Abstract: In this article, we aim to describe and explain what is the model “practical group of displacements”, introduced in 1937 by Piaget’s work La construction du reel chez l’enfant (Neuchâtel, Paris: Delachaux et Niestle), essential to comprehension of the construction of space. To this end, we introduce the mathematical notation to describe it, we give the meaning of this notation in the child’s behavior and explains the mathematical structure of group underlying the model.

Conseqüências da interpretação funcional de termos psicológicos

Abstract: A Analise do Comportamento (AC) tem-se beneficiado de uma determinada modalidade de interpretacao operacional de termos/expressoes desenvolvido(a)s em outros sistemas da Psicologia e areas afins. O modelo skinneriano de interpretacao operacional de termos de outras teorias constitui-se da analise do contexto em que teoricos e pesquisadores emitem os termos/expressoes analisados. Trata-se, portanto, da analise do comportamento verbal de psicologos. Inumeros exemplos dessa pratica podem ser encontrados na obra de Skinner e sao recorrentes nos diversos periodicos da AC. Neste artigo, discutem-se as implicacoes dessas analises para a sobrevivencia da AC enquanto pratica cultural, para o aperfeicoamento conceitual, teorico e tecnologico da AC e para o ensino da AC. Com base nessas analises, propoe-se que a interpretacao de termos de outras teorias seja considerada um programa de pesquisa importante e receba maior atencao dos analistas do comportamento.

Memória organizacional: proposta de um modelo para implantação em instituições

Abstract: Com o acelerado desenvolvimento da sociedade, as pequenas e medias empresas precisaram desenvolver mecanismos que as ajudassem no seu proprio desenvolvimento, visando a sobrevivencia no mundo competitivo. Uma das maneiras encontradas por essas empresas foi a estruturacao de aglomeracoes empresariais e industriais, voltadas ao mesmo segmento de negocio, denominada de arranjos produtivos locais. De acordo com esse panorama, surge a necessidade de se estudar e analisar a importância da criacao de uma estrutura de memoria organizacional, que possibilite o registro, a preservacao e a disseminacao do conhecimento que tem sido produzido pelos participantes do Arranjo Produtivo Local (APL) de Tecnologia de Informacao de Londrina e regiao. Como objetivo geral do trabalho, se pretendeu analisar de que maneira a memoria organizacional se constitui em espacos empresariais. Como metodos de pesquisa, foi utilizado o ‘Estudo de Caso’ e a ‘Analise de Conteudo’. Em relacao aos resultados obtidos, os participantes da pesquisa consideram importante a estruturacao de uma memoria organizacional, com vistas ao registro e preservacao da informacao e conhecimento por eles produzidos; a organizacao da informacao e do conhecimento; a informacao e conhecimento por eles demandados sao parcialmente supridos; o acesso a informacao util e de qualidade e uma das principais vantagens em se participar do APL.

Cambios en la calidad de vida de los argentinos entre 1991 y 2001 - una primera aproximación a escala provincial

Abstract: En este trabajo, pretendemos dar cuenta de los principales cambios estructurales desarrollados en las condiciones de vida de la poblacion argentina durante el ultimo periodo intercensal (1991-2001), a traves del analisis de sus dimensiones socioeconomica y fisico-ambiental, para formular, finalmente, un indice de calidad de vida objetivo tendiente a mostrar, a escala provincial, las nuevas desigualdades y fragmentaciones imperantes en el territorio nacional. Los resultados a obtener se hallaran sujetos, fundamentalmente, al comportamiento de variables tales como educacion, salud, vivienda, migraciones, riesgos naturales y atraccion paisajistica, cuyo analisis e interpretacion nos permitira conocer las nuevas dinamicas territoriales desatadas por el proceso de modernizacion excluyente imperante en la formacion socioespacial.

Métodos de ADN Barcode revelan diversidad de especies de Astroblepus en la cuenca del río Porce, Colombia

Abstract: The genus Astroblepus, is endemic to the Andean region and is represented by 81 valid species inhabiting high mountain rivers from Panama to Bolivia. In Colombia, about 32 species of this genus have been reported, of which 23 were recorded in the Porce River drainage, which indicates that about 71% of species diversity can be found in this area. Morphologically the species of Astroblepus are very similar and the characters traditionally used for their determination are not very diagnostic, which limits their identification at species level. In order to determine the diversity of Astroblepus in the Porce River drainage, 129 individuals were analyzed using genetic identification tools through the sequencing of the 580bp Cytochrome Oxidase subunit I (COI) gene and an analysis based on morphometry. The genetic analyses and the method of delimitation of species qGeneral mixed "Yulecoalescent";, indicated the presence of 12 taxonomic entities, which weresupported by genetic distances and by 13 body measurements based on corporalproportions. The results indicate that the diversity of species has been overestimated in this river and highlight the importance to integrate different methodologies in the delimitation species studies.

Situação atual dos grupos de pesquisa no Brasil que estudam a obra de Jean Piaget

Abstract: Este artigo tem por objetivo mostrar a pesquisa que realizamos sobre a situacao atual dos grupos de pesquisa no Brasil dedicados ao estudo da obra de Piaget. O artigo apresenta dados quantitativos coletados durante a pesquisa e uma breve analise inicial sobre os mesmos.

A parceria trans-pacífico como uma estratégia de contenção da china

Abstract: A presente intervencao visa discutir as relacoes entre Estados Unidos e China na Asia-Pacifico e ira discorrer sobre a entrada dos Estados Unidos nas negociacoes da Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), em 2008. A complexa relacao entre esses paises faz necessaria a discussao acerca sua interdependencia economica, as estrategias chinesas para a politica internacional e as participacoes norte-americanas nos tratados de livre-comercio que abrangem a regiao. O foco da discussao na Parceria Trans-Pacifico se deve por esta se apresentar em muitos momentos, como o elemento chave na estrategica da administracao Obama no objetivo de aprofundar o envolvimento norte americano na regiao do Pacifico. Os crescentes mercados na Asia Pacifico ja sao os principais destinos para os produtos manufaturados dos Estados Unidos e estima-se que o grupo de paises participantes do TTP e um mercado de grande significância para exportacao de bens e servicos dos Estados Unidos. Assim, tem-se um panorama das perspectivas que podem ser aguardadas para as relacoes sino-americanas nos proximos anos.

Contribuições da Epistemologia Genética para a Construção do Conhecimento na Educação Infantil

Abstract: A Educacao Infantil tem como objetivo central o desenvolvimento integral da crianca de zero a cinco anos em seus aspectos fisico, afetivo, cognitivo e social. Esse e, tambem, o objetivo dos Centros de Convivencia Infantil da Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp) que atende a filhos de docentes, tecnico-administrativos e discentes. Neste artigo relataremos uma parte do trabalho da Comissao Tecnica dos CCIs (Prad/Reitoria) com reflexoes acerca da construcao do conhecimento das criancas por meio de observacoes realizadas nos CCIs dos diferentes campi da Unesp, quando realizadas as visitas tecnicas. Como aporte teorico adotamos a Epistemologia Genetica de Jean Piaget. Os resultados parciais revelam que, ainda que haja esforcos no sentido de entender e auxiliar o processo de construcao do conhecimento das criancas pequenas, permanecem desafios a serem superados na efetivacao de um atendimento de excelencia as criancas.

Representações Sociais – Aproximando Piaget e Moscovici

Abstract: O conceito de representacao social compreende a concepcao que um sujeito, um grupo ou uma sociedade tem sobre determinado tema ou assunto, estando presente tanto nas relacoes sociais como no conjunto de opinioes e comportamentos dos individuos, refle-tindo em sua conduta e valores. Esse artigo se orienta a aproximar as bases epistemo-logicas de Piaget com a teoria das Representacoes Sociais de Moscovici. Acreditamos que o conhecimento social analisado por Piaget, e a representacao social apresentada por Moscovici, sao conceitos complementares uma vez que ambos compartilham de uma mesma postura epistemologica – o mundo tal como o conhecemos - e o mundo construido por nos atraves de nossas operacoes psicologicas. Consideramos que os dois autores tem importantes contribuicoes para a compreensao do processo de cons-trucao das representacoes sociais bem como suas implicacoes para a vida dos indivi-duos.

Postural stabilization of looking: Effects of object distance

Abstract: The aim of the present study was to analyze the effects of looking at targets located at different distances on body oscillation during tasks of distinct difficulties. In Experiment 1, ten participants in quiet stance fixated targets in three conditions: No object-far (fixation on far-target without near-target), Object-near (fixation on near target with fartarget), and Object-far (fixation on far-target with near-target). Mean oscillations of trunk in anterior-posterior axis were smallest in the Object-near condition; the No object-far and Object-far conditions were similar. In Experiment 2, seven participants in kiba-dachi, a karate stance, were submitted to three conditions: Blindfolded, No object-far, and Object-near. Mean oscillations of head and trunk in anterior-posterior axis were smaller in the Object-near as compared to blindfolded condition; trunk oscillated more during No object-far than Object-near condition. The results support the notion that a simple posture is not automatically regulated by the optical flow, but different amounts of visual instability may be tolerated according to the fixation distance, regardless the presence of non-fixated objects; the control of a more difficult posture may also accommodate the effects of fixation distance.

Estudio comparativo de algoritmos basados en cúmulo de partículas para resolver el problema de empaquetamiento en placas

Abstract: En este articulo se presenta una metodologia basada en tecnicas metaheuristicas de optimizacion para la solucion del problema de empaquetamiento optimo bidimensional de piezas rectangulares en placas, considerando la posibilidad de rotar 90° las piezas y con restricciones de corte tipo guillotina. Este pertenece a la familia de problemas de corte y empaquetamiento considerados clasicos dentro de la investigacion de operaciones, siendo de gran aplicacion en la industria y caracterizados por su alta complejidad matematica y computacional. Para su solucion se usa una codificacion en arbol de cortes. En el analisis de resultados se realizo un estudio computacional con tres algoritmos basados en la tecnica cumulo de particulas. Con el fin de verificar la eficiencia de la metodologia propuesta basandose en tiempos de computo y calidad de respuestas, se tomaron diferentes casos de prueba de la literatura especializada para realizar un benchmarking, que finalmente corroboro el desempeno de la metodologia. .

ESTUDO DAS VARIAÇÕES DE DENSIDADE DA MADEIRA DO Liquidambar styraciflua E DO Pinus tecunumannii, COMO PARÂMETROS DE QUALIDADE PARA A PRODUÇÃO DE MÓVEIS

Abstract: The objective of this study was to evaluate the qualitative and quantitative physical parameters of wood of the species Liquidambar styraciflua and Pinus tecunumannii, cultivated in Agudos-SP, Brazil. The choice of the species was based on the productivity and quality of the wood of the species L. styraciflua in other regions, its good adaptation in the state of Sao Paulo in Brazil, and also the superiority of the species P. tecunumannii among the Pinus sp. cultivated in Brazil for the production of hardwood. The mean density of each tree species, as well as the variation in radial and axial directions, were measured. The mean density and point density of the wood were determined using the gamma-ray attenuation technique of 241Am. Productivity was evaluated by means of the annual average increment in dry mass of each species. The results show that the L. styraciflua species is a viable alternative for reforestation in Brazil, mainly because of the superior quality of its wood and substantial gains in mean density and smaller variations in density, making it a good alternative to substitute some valuable hardwoods for the production of furniture.
