TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a concept, which is a step towards standardizing self-aware hierarchical structure for the data repository, that enables any IoT device to be smart and hence facilitates context aware communication among IoT devices.
Abstract: The rapid progress in the field of IoT has been enriching the idea of Ubiquitous Computing. The Internet of Things(IoT) ecosystem involves HCI i.e. it involves users and technologies that helps in satisfying users' needs in terms of smart environment. For such environments it is necessary to structure all the data and define relationships among all the data that makes smart context. This paper proposes a concept, which is a step towards standardizing self-aware hierarchical structure for the data repository, that enables any IoT device to be smart and hence facilitates context aware communication among IoT devices.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors have achieved the BLAST-BSPMAPREDUCE (Bulk Synchronization Parallel MapReduce) algorithm by further improving the basic local alignment search tool.
Abstract: Aligning genomic sequences is a simple method for handling and analyzing the information in Bioinformatics. Here, the author expresses the problems related to BLAST algorithm which is used for the alignment of the sequences of biological data as the data grows huge. The current BLAST algorithm provided by National Centre of Biotechnology Information (stand-alone) cannot address biological data dynamically that are in terabytes. Many schedulers have been proposed to address this issue. The existing sequencing methodology is the one which is based on Hadoop MapReduce framework that executes in a sequential manner by consuming more time and is cost expensive. Hence, the author in this paper has achieved the BLAST-BSPMAPREDUCE (Bulk Synchronization Parallel MapReduce) algorithm by further improving the BLAST (Basic Local Alignment Search Tool) algorithm that is on the basis of Azure Cloud principles to tackle the case of serial execution in Hadoop MapReduce framework. The exploratory study which has been presented in this work demonstrates that the proposed BSPMAPREDUCE has a better coordinating speed of bioinformatics genomic sequences and achieves much higher speed over existing Hadoop-BLAST algorithm and the experiment result shows that the proposed customized scheduler is highly robust and scalable.

TL;DR: The purpose of this paper is to compare the basic methods Prewitt Edge Detector, Sobel edge detector and Robert edge detector with different structuring elements.
Abstract: Detecting text regions in natural scene images has become an important area due to its varies applications. Text Information Extraction (TIE) System involves detecting text regions in a given image, localizing it, extracting the text part and recognizing text using OCR. This work basically concentrates on the detection and extraction of text in natural scene images. In this work, the test image will be pre-processed using RGB to Gray conversion, binarization, Edge Detection method and Geometric based Noise removal method. The features from the pre-processed image are extracted. After detecting text regions, characters are extracted and finally displayed. The purpose of this paper is to compare the basic methods Prewitt Edge Detector, Sobel edge detector and Robert edge detector with different structuring elements.

TL;DR: An advanced video encoding module based on inter frame video technique is implemented to predict the future frame based on the current frame and previous frame and resultant vector information is encoded such that to transmits high quality video information in a less bandwidth.
Abstract: Video coding is one of the significant key role parameter in today's advanced communication system. Based on the requirement the input digital video is encoded in two different ways i.e. lossy encoding and lossless encoding techniques. These coding techniques again sectored in two main parts i.e. inter frame coding and intra frame coding. In the proposed paper an advanced video encoding module based on inter frame video technique is implemented. In particular block based motion estimation is performed to predict the future frame based on the current frame and previous frame. A respective motion vector is obtained based on the motion compensation and current frame information. The resultant vector information is encoded such that to transmits high quality video information in a less bandwidth.
