Abstract: The dynamic business environment has changed the mindset of printing industry, which enhanced the focus towards waste management as its critical issue in printing industry. Printing waste is also leading to financial loss and developing environmental issues. This scenario motivates to perform root cause analysis of newsprint waste, which can help to reduce waste and to improve the environmental conditions. In this paper, the root cause of newsprint waste is identified using Pareto analysis and cause and effect matrix. The result shows that web break between operation and the wrong roller setting are the root causes of newsprint waste. At the end of this study, few improvement measures are suggested and implemented for validating the improvement.

Abstract: This paper is discussing development of Hard Anodized Aluminium Oxide (HAAO) coated Solar Receivers with varying degree of surface roughness and finishing of HAAO coatings for comparative analysis. It is found that for lower DNI, roughness Ra 150 μm using 1000 A rating rectifier (which is limited to 50–60 μm in presented experiment with 400 A rectifier) for further textural developments. Also, their stability at maximum temperature of the focal area of solar concentrators is ~660 °C. HAAO coatings perform better under toughened glass and expected to improve further under vacuum and submerged under water.

Abstract: Internet is empowering customers with rich information about product attributes and experiences of others. Companies often believe that their long-term profitability may be determined by how their product information is presented and processed by the consumers. But people shopping online often face difficulty in processing large combinations of product attributes within a limited cognitive capacity. This increase in amount of information challenging decision making quality and thus decision maker experiences ‘Information overload’ which may result in dysfunctional consequences such as cognitive fatigue and confusion which in turn effect decision quality. Searching for product information on the Internet is the most important predictor of online buying behavior. The differences in customer search for diverse products online have important implications on marketing practices. The present research focuses on explaining the effects of ‘information overload’ on the choice and purchase decisions for different product type. The findings of research has implications for information providers, retailers and researchers interested in improving quality of human decision making.

Abstract: Internet of Things (IoT) is another worldview it coordinates web and electronic devices which is becoming popular in various areas. For instance, smart appliances (iRobot), mechanical procedure, Healthcare applications, smart home security systems, ecological monitor and so on. It extends the presence of the Internet-associated gadget in our day by day exercises, bringing, and numerous advantages, but the challenges lead to safety problems. Intended for over two decades, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) exert a significant apparatus to the systems shelter and data frameworks. Nevertheless, placed on conventional IDS systems to IoT is troublesome because of its specific qualities, for example, compelled asset gadgets, explicit protocol stacks, and principles. In this paper IDS is examined to endeavors for IoT. The main aim is to distinguish the important patterns, exposed problems, and upcoming investigation potential outcomes. IDSs are used to classify the proposed in the related works as indicated by the accompanying properties such as identification technique, IDS assignment system, safety risk, and proof methodology. Various potential outcomes for each characteristic are discussed for enumerating parts of the mechanism that also proposes the IDS plans for IoT or create occurrence discovery procedures for IoT security dangers that might be inserted in IDSs.
