TL;DR: The specific component-wise energy performance improvement after the incorporation of variable drives and ECBC compliance check for the proposed case has been presented in this paper.
Abstract: In past several years, due to technology advancements, the costs of variable speed drives have come down sharply allowing the widespread applications of variable speed devices in building air-conditioning systems. This article presents the case study on application level of variable speed drives to the components of the air-conditioning system (VAV system) installed in Vivekanand Lecture Theatre Complex (VLTC) at MNIT Jaipur, India. After incorporating the variable speed drives to the air conditioning system, the proposed case energy performance index has been compared with the standard energy performance indexes of Energy Conservation Building Codes 2017(ECBC, ECBC+ and Super ECBC), developed by the ministry of power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency(BEE), India. The study of Hartman research paper on variable speed chiller plants has been used to learn existing algorithm for developing new operating strategies. Simulations are performed on EnergyPlusV8.8.0 (an energy analysis simulation program) for more than dozens of cases by making the variable a single and multiple combinations of HVAC equipment (AHU, Cooling Tower, Chiller, Pumps). The results show that the application of variable speed drives improved the performance of the air conditioning system substantially. At an average, the energy consumption of all variable chiller plant decreased by 40-45% compared to a constant speed chiller plant. All-variable speed chiller plant operating strategies have been developed based on the tailored specific performance characteristics of variable speed chillers and the variable flow characteristics of condenser pumps and cooling towers. The specific component-wise energy performance improvement after the incorporation of variable drives and ECBC compliance check for the proposed case has been presented in this paper.

TL;DR: In this paper, a thermal imaging technique was used as a baseline to find the intrinsic values of fruits in terms of temperature parameter and then combined with a transfer learning approach to forecast the shelf life of fruits.
Abstract: Shelf-life prediction for fruits based on the visual inspection and with RGB imaging through external features becomes more pervasive in agriculture and food business. In the proposed architecture, to enhance the accuracy with low computational costs we focus on two challenging tasks of shelf life (remaining useful life) prediction: 1) detecting the intrinsic features like internal defects, bruises, texture, and color of the fruits; and 2) classification of fruits according to their remaining useful life. To accomplish these tasks, we use the thermal imaging technique as a baseline which is used as non-destructive approach to find the intrinsic values of fruits in terms of temperature parameter. Further to improve the classification tasks, we combine it with a transfer learning approach to forecast the shelf life of fruits. For this study, we have chosen „Kesar? (Mangifera Indica Linn cv. Kesar) mangoes and for the purpose of classification, our designed dataset images are categorized into 19 classes viz. RUL-1 (Remaining Useful Life-1) to RUL-18 (Remaining Useful Life-18) and No-Life as after harvesting, the storage span of „Kesar? is near about 19 days. A comparative analysis using SqueezeNet, ShuffleNet, and MobileNetv2 (which are prominent CNN based lightweight models) has been performed in this study. The empirical results show a highest achievable accuracy of 98.15±0.44% with an almost a double speedup in training the entire process by using thermal images.

TL;DR: An FLC algorithm is developed so that the feed rate of coagulant is can be judged automatically without any skilled operator, than compose a PID like FLC for water purification plant process.
Abstract: Now a day, in many industries different types of controllers (PD, PID, PLC, FLC etc.) are used. One of them is fuzzy logic controller. Here we develop a PID like fuzzy logic controller for industrial application, such application is water purification plant. For developing the PID like FLC, first we have to design a PID algorithm than we develop an algorithm for fuzzy logic controller. By comparing this two of controller we will develop a PID like FLC. A simple PID controller is sum of three type of controller proportional, integral and derivative controller, after simulated on MATLAB. Same cases we can be develop a structure of FLC for water purification plant. In the water purification plant raw water or ground water is promptly purified by injecting chemical rates at rates, related to water quality [13][2]. The feed of chemical rate judged and determined by the skilled operator. Here we try to develop an FLC algorithm so that the feed rate of coagulant is can be judged automatically without any skilled operator, than compose a PID like FLC for water purification plant process.

TL;DR: This work outlines a system at the coordinating score level by consolidating the left with right palmprint by utilizing three strategies, for example, line based technique, Gabor Features approach, Local Binary Pattern (LBP)
Abstract: Biometrics has been an emerging field of research in the current years and was worried by utilizing physical qualities, for example, those in light of iris or retinal examining, confront acknowledgment, fingerprints, or voices of people to be distinguished. Applying low determination gadgets palmprint is effectively caught likewise it is particular, contrasted with different techniques, for example, unique finger impression or iris palm print has favored and additionally it incorporates extra highlights, for example, essential lines. In past decades, different palmprint distinguishing proof techniques have been proposed, for example, coding based techniques and guideline bend strategies. However, some extraordinary sorts of biometric attributes have a comparability and these techniques can't abuse the similitude of various types of attributes. This work outlines a system at the coordinating score level by consolidating the left with right palmprint. The combination is finished by utilizing three strategies, for example, line based technique, Gabor Features approach, Local Binary Pattern (LBP)
