TL;DR: A methotrexate population pharmacokinetic model has been developed and a priori validated in children with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia and could be used in Bayesian algorithms with a limited sampling strategy to estimate the systemic exposure of individual patients to metotrexate and adapt both folinic acid rescue and methotaxate dosing accordingly.
Abstract: Objective: To develop and a priori validate a methotrexate population pharmacokinetic model in children with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL), receiving high-dose methotrexate followed by folinic acid rescue, identifying the covariates that could explain part of the pharmacokinetic variability of methotrexate.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied the deflection of light by a class of phantom black hole and wormhole solutions in the weak limit approximation, and showed that the particular choice of the shape function and mass function plays a crucial role in the final expression for the angle of light.

TL;DR: Analysis of methylation changes of DNA repetitive elements during the progression of CML from chronic phase (CP) to blast crisis (BC) suggests that repetitive DNA hypomethylation are closely associated with CML progression.

TL;DR: In this paper, a unified description of all classes of exact solutions to these equations in terms of confluent Heun functions is presented and large classes of new exact solutions are found and classified with respect to their characteristic properties.
Abstract: The Teukolsky master equation is the basic tool for the study of perturbations of the Kerr metric in linear approximation. It admits separation of variables, thus yielding the Teukolsky radial equation and the Teukolsky angular equation. We present here a unified description of all classes of exact solutions to these equations in terms of the confluent Heun functions. Large classes of new exact solutions are found and classified with respect to their characteristic properties. Special attention is paid to the polynomial solutions which are singular ones and introduce collimated one-way running waves. It is shown that a proper linear combination of such solutions can present bounded one-way running waves. This type of waves may be suitable as models of the observed astrophysical jets.

TL;DR: In this paper, a search for the pair production of new light bosons, each decaying into a pair of muons, is performed with the CMS experiment at the LHC, using a dataset corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 20.7 inverse femtobarns collected in proton-proton collisions at center-of-mass energy of sqrt(s) = 8 TeV.
