TL;DR: In this article, an input apparatus 100 has a sensor section 101 that detects whether a pressing operation or a touching operation is being performed on the front surface of a panel, and a position determination process section 102 that generates a control signal corresponding to the detected data value and a control section 103 that produces a signal waveform of a drive voltage supplied to a drive section 104 to deform the panel with the control signal.
Abstract: An input apparatus 100 has a sensor section 101 that detects whether a pressing operation or a touching operation is being performed on the front surface of a panel with a detected data value that varies when the pressing operation or the touching operation is performed, a position determination process section 102 that generates a control signal corresponding to the detected data value, and a control section 103 that generates a signal waveform of a drive voltage supplied to a drive section 104 to deform the panel with the control signal. When the operator performs an input operation, after the pressing operation or the touching operation is performed until the pressing operation or the touching operation is confirmed, the panel is deformed corresponding to a signal waveform having a small amplitude. After the pressing operation or the touching operation is confirmed, the panel is deformed with a signal waveform having a large amplitude. The operator can feel a stroke sense with the weak vibration after the pressing operation or the like is performed. Thereafter, with strong vibration, the operator can feel a click sense.

TL;DR: In this article, a display microcomputer of a television receiver produces a display in a sub-screen of the cathode-ray tube of a main menu corresponding to the numerous operating functions of which the television receiver is capable.
Abstract: In response to data supplied from a system controller, a display microcomputer of a television receiver produces a display in a sub-screen of the cathode-ray tube of a main menu corresponding to the numerous operating functions of which the television receiver is capable. Some of these functions include a picture-in-picture function, a satellite broadcast receiving function, and a picture-recording reservation function. When a user of the television receiver selects an item on the main menu corresponding to the picture-in-picture function by using a remote controller, the system controller controls an audio video switch, the picture-in-picture circuit, and a display microcomputer to provide two picture-in-picture sub-screens displayed simultaneously. One sub-screen contains a sub-screen menu to enable the user to set parameters relative to the picture displayed in the other sub-screen.

TL;DR: A signal transmission system includes concentratedly arranged various kinds of electronic apparatus capable of transmitting information such as audio and/or video, and so forth as mentioned in this paper, which is provided with a main controller for controlling those apparatus and an auxiliary controller arranged in a plurality of chambers via cables so that information can be properly watched and heard through the main controller.
Abstract: A signal transmission system includes concentratedly arranged various kinds of electronic apparatus capable of transmitting information such as audio and/or video, and so forth. The system is provided with a main controller for controlling those apparatus and an auxiliary controller arranged in a plurality of chambers via cables so that information can be properly watched and heard through the above main controller. The system processes the transmission of information in a short time and also provides possibility of controlling even an electronic apparatus having no means for receiving control signals through wire by having the signals outputted in parallel or in series control signals for demanding transmission of information properly are fed to the various kinds of electronic apparatus from the auxiliary controller through the main controller.

TL;DR: In this article, a play list comprising the names of music pieces broadcasted from a broadcast station and broadcast time information are accumulated in a data base, and a gateway device is used to search the data base for those broadcast stations in the user's geographic area which broadcasted music pieces or the like at a time that matches the time information.
Abstract: A play list comprising the names of music pieces broadcasted from a broadcast station and broadcast time information are accumulated in a data base. If a user likes a music piece broadcasted from the broadcast station, he activates a book marker which stores time information representing the time at which the book marker is activated. The time information is supplied through a gateway device to a search engine which searches the data base for those broadcast stations in the user's geographic area which broadcasted music pieces or the like at a time that matches the time information. The search results are transmitted to the gateway device and displayed.
