05 Mar 2003TL;DR: In this article, a mutual recognition process is performed in step S1, and a transfer-rate measurement process is executed in stepS5, when it is determined according to the transfer rate in step 6 that the audio can be transmitted, the corresponding compressed audio data is extracted in step 57, and the compressed audio is decoded to generate linear PCM data suited to the transmission rate.
Abstract: A mutual recognition process is performed in step S1. When it is determined in step S2 that a request for sending a list of musical pieces has been received, the list of musical pieces is sent in step S3. When a request for sending audio data has been received in step 54; a transfer-rate measurement process is executed in step S5. When it is determined according to the transfer rate in step S6 that the audio can be transmitted, the corresponding compressed audio data is extracted in step 57, the compressed audio data is decoded to generate linear PCM data suited to the transfer rate in step S8, and transmitted in step S9. When the audio data cannot be transmitted, an error message is transmitted in step S10. The present invention can be applied, for example, to a server for distributing audio data and an audio player terminal for reproducing the distributed audio data.

28 Sep 2001TL;DR: An action editing window (200) shows a timetable of a two-dimensional time-line type composed of a horizontal time axis and a vertical channel as mentioned in this paper, where the user can edit data while confirming the synchronism between the constituent elements of an action.
Abstract: An action editing window (200) shows a timetable of two-dimensional time-line type composed of a horizontal time axis and a vertical channel In the time-line table, constituent contents of an action such as a time ruler (201), a keyframe channel (202), a motion channel (203), a sound channel (204), and an LED operation channel (205) are displayed in time series The user can edit data while confirming the synchronism between the constituent elements of an action The creation and editing of a series of commands/data describing a motion pattern of a robot is supported

08 Sep 2011TL;DR: In this article, a signal transmission apparatus including a plurality of modulating sections configured to modulate a transmission object signal and a plurality demodulating parts configured to demodulate the modulated signals modulated by the modulating signals is presented.
Abstract: A signal transmission apparatus including: a plurality of modulating sections configured to modulate a transmission object signal; and a plurality of demodulating sections configured to demodulate the modulated signals modulated by the modulating sections, wherein each of carrier frequencies as frequencies different from each other used by respective sets of the modulating sections and the demodulating sections is set such that frequency of a third-order intermodulation distortion component generated on a basis of two carrier frequencies adjacent to each other is not present within any of reception bands of modulated signals based on each of the other carrier frequencies.
