27 Mar 2009TL;DR: In this article, a two-point specification detector is used to detect two point specifications and causes to calculate coordinates of the two points, and a GUI handler includes a processing mode modification block which differently interprets the event when a single point is specified and when two points are specified.
Abstract: The present invention enables to easily perform a graphic processing even when a touch panel is used. When a resistance film unit is pressed with a pen or a finger, output voltages associated with the X coordinate and the Y coordinate position are changed and these output voltages are transmitted as the X coordinate data and the Y coordinate data to a touch panel driver. According to the output from the resistance film unit, the touch panel driver generates an event for supply to a GUI handler. The touch panel driver includes a two-point specification detector which detects two point specifications and causes to calculate coordinates of the two points. The GUI handler generates a message corresponding to the GUI according to the event and supplies the message to an application. The GUI handler includes a processing mode modification block which differently interprets the event when a single point is specified and when two points are specified, thereby modifying the graphic processing mode.

02 Feb 2005TL;DR: In this article, a wireless communication system composed of a plurality of communication stations without a relationship of control station and controlled stations, respective communication stations transmit beacons with information concerning a network written thereon with each other to construct the network.
Abstract: In order to solve problems arising when a communication system such as a wireless LAN is constructed as a decentralized distributed type network without a relationship of control station and controlled stations such as a master station and slave stations, in a wireless communication system composed of a plurality of communication stations without a relationship of control station and controlled stations, respective communication stations transmit beacons with information concerning a network written thereon with each other to construct the network, and it becomes possible to make sophisticated judgment such as communication states of other communication stations by those beacons.

17 Aug 2012TL;DR: In this article, a method for fabricating a dielectric waveguide (WG) on a PCB for RF communication between ICs on the PCB is described, which can replace a baseband copper bus and resulting in the PCB being smaller and/or cheaper.
Abstract: A method which relates to fabricating a dielectric waveguide (WG) on a PCB for RF communication between ICs on the PCB. The WG can replace a baseband copper bus and resulting in the PCB being smaller and/or cheaper. The WG may be printed, stamped, cut or prefabricated onto the PCB.

24 Jun 2009TL;DR: In this article, an image processing apparatus includes an imaging information calculation unit acquiring a first image and higher-resolution second images, and calculating coordinate positions of the second images to the first image, and differences in imaging direction between second cameras and a first camera.
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes: an imaging information calculation unit acquiring a first image and higher-resolution second images, and calculating coordinate positions of the second images to the first image and differences in imaging direction between second cameras and a first camera; an eyepoint conversion unit generating eyepoint conversion images obtained by converting the second images based on the differences in imaging direction so that eyepoints of the second cameras coincide with an eyepoint of the first camera and matching the first image with the eyepoint conversion images to calculate phase deviations of the eyepoint conversion images from the first image; and an image synthesizing unit extracting high-frequency images, having frequency components higher than or equal to a predetermined frequency band, from the second images, and pasting the high-frequency images at the coordinate positions in correspondence with the first image to eliminate the phase deviations to generate a synthesized image.

TL;DR: In this article, a display control unit is configured to control the display to move the selected object when a move command is received from the user, and a group command is sent by the user.
Abstract: An apparatus includes a display control unit, including a processor, configured to control a display to display a plurality of objects and receive a selection of one of the plurality of objects by a user as a selected object. The display control unit is configured to control the display to move the selected object when a move command is received from the user. The display control unit is configured to control the display to group additionally selected objects with the selected object when additional objects are selected by the user and a group command is received from the user. The display control unit is configured to control the display to independently move the additionally selected objects with respect to the selected object until the additionally selected objects are grouped with the selected object.
