TL;DR: In this article, a pixel circuit is proposed to cancel the influence of the mobility of a drive transistor on the output of a light-emitting element with an output current dependent upon an input voltage.
Abstract: The invention provides a pixel circuit that can cancel the influence of the mobility of a drive transistor. A drive transistor supplies a light-emitting element with an output current dependent upon an input voltage. The light-emitting element emits light with a luminance dependent upon a video signal in response to the output current supplied from the drive transistor. The pixel circuit includes a correction unit that corrects the input voltage held by a capacitive part in order to cancel the dependence of the output current on the carrier mobility.

TL;DR: In this article, a display device with a touch detection function includes a display function layer, a plurality of touch detection electrodes arranged side by side to extend in a first direction, and an electrostatic capacitance being formed at intersections of the touch detectors and the drive electrodes.
Abstract: A display device with a touch detection function includes a display function layer, a plurality of touch detection electrodes arranged side by side to extend in a first direction, and a plurality of drive electrodes arranged side by side to extend in a second direction, electrostatic capacitance being formed at intersections of the touch detection electrodes and the drive electrodes. The plurality of drive electrodes extends to a first position or a second position outside of the first position, the first position being away from a center of an outermost touch detection electrode by a half length of an arrangement pitch of the touch detection electrodes, the outermost touch detection electrode being defined as outermost one of touch detection electrodes included in an effective display region of the display function layer, and an outer edge of the effective display region is located on or inside the first position.

TL;DR: In this paper, a display unit having a touch panel on its front surface, a movement amount calculation unit that calculates the movement amount of a touch operation based on a touch point at which the touch operation is performed with respect to the touch panel and a touch release point from the touch panels, and a command recognition unit that recognizes whether a received command is a command corresponding to the depression operation or gesture operation.
Abstract: An information processing device includes: a display unit having a touch panel on its front surface; a movement amount calculation unit that calculates the movement amount of a touch operation based on a touch point at which the touch operation is performed with respect to the touch panel and a touch release point at which the touch operation is released from the touch panel; an operation determination unit that determines whether the touch operation is a depression operation or a gesture operation depending on the calculated movement amount; and a command recognition unit that recognizes whether a received command is a command corresponding to the depression operation or the gesture operation.

TL;DR: In this article, a program guide is generated by the system tuning sequentially to each one of a number of channels, and a visually usable video frame is captured from one of the numbers of channels and is then decimated.
Abstract: A program guide (702) is generated comprising a number of still video pictures (704-720) that represent current programming on a number of channels. The program guide is generated by the system tuning sequentially to each one of a number of channels. A visually usable video frame is captured from one of the number of channels, and is then decimated. Tuning, capturing, and decimating are then repeated for each of a selected number of channels. Following generation, the program guide is displayed. A system pointer (728) is displayed on the screen along with the program guide, and the system pointer is manipulated in response to input by the user. A channel is selected for viewing by manipulating the system pointer to an area associated with the still video picture of the corresponding channel.

TL;DR: A program table guide control apparatus according to this invention generates program table picture including date and hour information, program title information and genre information to display only title of the program relating to broadcasting channel being received in connection with the title information, and to permit user to arbitrarily register genre information displayed as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: A program table guide control apparatus according to this invention generates program table picture including date and hour information, program title information and genre information to display only title of the program relating to broadcasting channel being received in connection with the title information, and to permit user to arbitrarily register genre information displayed. In addition, programs of high viewing frequency of user are automatically registered, thus permitting registered programs to be included in genre information. Thus, Electronic Program Guide (EPG) extremely easy for user to use can be provided.
