TL;DR: In this paper, the shared pixel transistors are divisionally arranged in a column direction of the shared pixels, the pixel transistor shared between neighboring shared pixels are arranged so as to be horizontally reversed or/and vertically crossed, and connection wirings connected to a floating diffusion portion, a source of a reset transistor and a gate of an amplification transistor in the column direction.
Abstract: A solid-state imaging device includes a pixel region in which shared pixels which share pixel transistors in a plurality of photoelectric conversion portions are two-dimensionally arranged. The shared pixel transistors are divisionally arranged in a column direction of the shared pixels, the pixel transistors shared between neighboring shared pixels are arranged so as to be horizontally reversed or/and vertically crossed, and connection wirings connected to a floating diffusion portion, a source of a reset transistor and a gate of an amplification transistor in the shared pixels are arranged along the column direction.

TL;DR: In this paper, a host menu and a subordinate menu corresponding to the former are to be displayed on a display unit (9) through the front face (50A) of a virtual cube menu (50).
Abstract: In case a host menu and a subordinate menu corresponding to the former are to be displayed on a display unit (9), the host menu is displayed on the display unit (9) through the front face (50A) of a virtual cube menu (50). When it is recognized that the cube menu (50) is selected in response to an inputting operation, the cube menu (50) is turned, and this turning procedure is displayed by a predetermined interpolation image. After this, the subordinate menu is displayed through the upper face (50B) after turning of the cube menu (50). Therefore, the visual continuity from the host menu to the subordinate menu can be retained to allow the user to easily recognize the transfer from the host menu to the subordinate menu.

TL;DR: Disclosed is a light transmitting liquid crystal display apparatus used with advantage with a television receiver having a large-sized display not less than 30 inch as discussed by the authors, where a backlight section sending out illuminating light is formed by a plural number of rows made up of many light emitting units arranged on the back surface of a display panel.
Abstract: Disclosed is a light transmitting liquid crystal display apparatus used with advantage with a television receiver having a large-sized display not less than 30 inch A backlight section ( 3 ) sending out illuminating light is formed by a plural number of rows made up of many light emitting units ( 15 ) arranged on the back surface of a liquid crystal display panel ( 8 ) Each light emitting unit includes many LED units ( 18 ) mounted on an interconnection substrate ( 17 ) and is mounted in this state on a heat dissipating plate ( 28 ) A reflecting section ( 6 ) for reflecting the light radiated from each LED is formed by a large number of reflective sheet pieces ( 27 ), assembled from one heat emitting unit to another, and a reflective plate ( 26 ) secured to reflecting plate supports ( 40 ) formed on the heat dissipating plate

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a high efficiency apparatus for coding digital video data in which the number of bits per picture element in the video data such as a digital video signal or the like is compressed.
Abstract: The invention relates to a high efficiency apparatus for coding digital video data in which the number of bits per picture element in the video data such as a digital video signal or the like is compressed. The video data of a television picture plane is divided into a number of three-dimensional blocks, i.e., spatial blocks. The picture element data in the block can be coded by the reduced number of bits by the bit compression by performing the coding process adapted to the narrowed dynamic range on the basis of the correlation among the picture elements in each block. The transmission data of the number of bits reduced as compared with the number of bits of the original data can be formed. By coding only the necessary frame by discriminating the movement of the image in the block, the redundancy in the direction of time can be removed.
