TL;DR: A theoretic basis has been developed for the application of the interval fuzzy preference relations in group decision making because it is proven that an interval fuzzy preferences relation B and the synthetic intervals fuzzy preference relation A are of acceptable compatibility.
Abstract: This paper defines the concept of compatibility degree of two interval fuzzy preference relations, and gives a compatibility index of two interval fuzzy preference relations. It is proven that an interval fuzzy preference relation B and the synthetic interval fuzzy preference relation of interval fuzzy preference relations A1,A2,…,As are of acceptable compatibility under the condition that the interval fuzzy preference relation B and each of the interval fuzzy preference relations Al,A2,…,As are of acceptable compatibility, and thus a theoretic basis has been developed for the application of the interval fuzzy preference relations in group decision making.

TL;DR: This strategy was successfully demonstrated as a simple, cost-effective, specific, and potent method to detect AFP in practical samples and possessed high sensitivity and reproducibility.
Abstract: A novel strategy for sensitive detection of biomarkers using horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-functionalized silica nanoparticles as the label is presented. The enzyme-functionalized silica nanoparticles were fabricated by coimmobilization of HRP and α-fetoprotein antibody (anti-AFP, the secondary antibody, Ab2), a model protein, onto the surface of SiO2 nanoparticles using γ-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane (GPMS) as the linkage. Through “sandwiched” immunoreaction, the enzyme-functionalized silica nanoparticle labels were brought close to the surface of gold substrates, as confirmed by the scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images. Enhanced detection sensitivity was achieved where the large surface area of SiO2 nanoparticle carriers increased the amount of HRP bound per sandwiched immunoreaction. The electrochemical and chemiluminescence measurement showed 29.5- and 61-fold increases in detection signals, respectively, in comparison with the traditional sandwich immunoassay. The improved particle synthesis u...

TL;DR: It is shown that second-order leader-following consensus in a nonlinear multiagent system can be reached if the virtual leader has a directed path to every follower and a derived quantity is greater than a positive threshold.
Abstract: This paper considers the leader-following consensus problem for multiagent systems with inherent nonlinear dynamics. Some M-matrix strategies are developed to address several challenging issues in the pinning control of multiagent systems by using algebraic graph theory and the properties of nonnegative matrices. It is shown that second-order leader-following consensus in a nonlinear multiagent system can be reached if the virtual leader has a directed path to every follower and a derived quantity is greater than a positive threshold. In particular, this paper analytically proves that leader-following consensus may be easier to be achieved by pinning more agents or increasing the pinning feedback gains. A selective pinning scheme is then proposed for nonlinear multiagent systems with directed network topologies. Numerical results are given to verify the theoretical analysis.
