TL;DR: This paper develops some new geometric aggregation operators, such as the intuitionistic fuzzy Einstein weighted geometric operator and the intuitionism fuzzy Einstein ordered weighted geometricoperator, which extend the weighted geometric (WG) operator andThe ordered weighted geometry (OWG)operator to accommodate the environment in which the given arguments are intuitionistic fuzziness values.
Abstract: Intuitionistic fuzzy information aggregation plays an important part in Atanassov's intuitionistic fuzzy set theory, which has emerged to be a new research direction receiving more and more attention in recent years In this paper, we first introduce some operations on intuitionistic fuzzy sets, such as Einstein sum, Einstein product, Einstein exponentiation, etc, and further develop some new geometric aggregation operators, such as the intuitionistic fuzzy Einstein weighted geometric operator and the intuitionistic fuzzy Einstein ordered weighted geometric operator, which extend the weighted geometric (WG) operator and the ordered weighted geometric (OWG) operator to accommodate the environment in which the given arguments are intuitionistic fuzzy values We also establish some desirable properties of these operators, such as commutativity, idempotency and monotonicity, and give some numerical examples to illustrate the developed aggregation operators In addition, we compare the proposed operators with the existing intuitionistic fuzzy geometric operators and get the corresponding relations Finally, we apply the intuitionistic fuzzy Einstein weighted geometric operator to deal with multiple attribute decision making under intuitionistic fuzzy environments © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc

TL;DR: This paper investigates the leader-following consensus for multiagent systems with general linear dynamics by means of event-triggered scheme (ETS), and proposes three types of schemes, namely, distributed ETS (distributed-ETS), centralized-ETS (centralized-ETS, and clustered-ETS) for different network topologies.
Abstract: This paper investigates the leader-following consensus for multiagent systems with general linear dynamics by means of event-triggered scheme (ETS). We propose three types of schemes, namely, distributed ETS (distributed-ETS), centralized ETS (centralized-ETS), and clustered ETS (clustered-ETS) for different network topologies. All these schemes guarantee that all followers can track the leader eventually. It should be emphasized that all event-triggered protocols in this paper depend on local information and their executions are distributed. Moreover, it is shown that such event-triggered mechanism can significantly reduce the frequency of control’s update. Further, positive inner-event time intervals are assured for those cases of distributed-ETS, centralized-ETS, and clustered-ETS. In addition, two methods are proposed to avoid continuous communication between agents for event detection. Finally, numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the ETSs.

TL;DR: The structural blue color of a Morpho butterfly originates from the diffraction of light and interference effects due to the presence of the microstructures on the wing of the butterfly, and a useful technique to prepare structural color films in colloidal solution is a "lifting" method, which allows to quickly fabricate brilliant colloidal crystal films.
Abstract: The structural blue color of a Morpho butterfly originates from the diffraction of light and interference effects due to the presence of the microstructures on the wing of the butterfly. Structural color on the surface of a damselfish reversibly changes between green and blue. Inspired by these creatures, we have been trying to prepare high-quality and functional structural color films. We describe our efforts in this Account. A useful technique to prepare such structural color films in colloidal solution is a “lifting” method, which allows us to quickly fabricate brilliant colloidal crystal films. The thicknesses of the films can be controlled by precisely adjusting the particle concentration and the lifting speed. Moreover, in order to prepare a complicated structure, we have used template methods. Indeed, we have successfully prepared the inverse structure of the wing of a Morpho butterfly with this technique. Initially, however, our structural color films had a whitish appearance due to the scattering...

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors systematically summarized and analyzed the information and digital convolution aspects of metamaterials and metasurfaces with particular emphasis on the information-and-digital convolution aspect.
Abstract: Traditionally, “metamaterials” have been described by effective medium parameters due to the subwavelength nature of unit particles. The continuous nature of medium parameters makes traditional metamaterials behave as analog metamaterials. Recently, the concept of coding metamaterials or “metasurfaces” has been proposed, in which metamaterials are characterized by digital coding particles of “0” and “1” with opposite phase responses. It has been demonstrated that electromagnetic waves can be manipulated by changing the coding sequences of “0” and “1”. The coding particles provide a link between the physical world and digital world, leading to digital metamaterials and even field programmable metamaterials, which can be used to control electromagnetic waves in real time. The digital coding representation of metamaterials or metasurfaces can also allow the concepts and signal processing methods in information science to be introduced to physical metamaterials, thereby realizing extreme control of electromagnetic waves. Such studies have set the foundation of information metamaterials and metasurfaces. In this review article, the coding, digital, and field programmable metamaterials and metasurfaces are systematically summarized and analyzed with particular emphases on the information and digital convolution aspects. The future trend of information metamaterial/metasurface is predicted, including software-defined metamaterials/metasurfaces and cognitive metamaterials/metasurfaces.
