TL;DR: The transverse momentum spectra of charged particles have been measured in pp and PbPb collisions at 2.76 TeV by the CMS experiment at the LHC as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: The transverse momentum spectra of charged particles have been measured in pp and PbPb collisions at sqrt(sNN) = 2.76 TeV by the CMS experiment at the LHC. In the transverse momentum range pt = 5-10 GeV/c, the charged particle yield in the most central PbPb collisions is suppressed by up to a factor of 5 compared to the pp yield scaled by the number of incoherent nucleon-nucleon collisions. At higher pt, this suppression is significantly reduced, approaching roughly a factor of 2 for particles with pt in the range pt=40-100 GeV/c.

TL;DR: In this paper, a planar-architecture perovskite solar cell with a power conversion efficiency of 10.0% has been proposed for next-generation photovoltaics.
Abstract: Thermally unstable nature of hybrid organic–inorganic perovskites has been a major obstacle to fabricating the long-term operational device. A cesium lead halide perovskite has been suggested as an alternative light absorber, due to its superb thermal stability. However, the phase instability and poor performance are hindering the further progress. Here, cesium lead halide perovskite solar cells with enhanced performance and stability are demonstrated via incorporating potassium cations. Based on Cs0.925K0.075PbI2Br, the planar-architecture device achieves a power conversion efficiency of 10.0%, which is a remarkable record in the field of inorganic perovskite solar cells. In addition, the device shows an extended operational lifetime against air. Our research will stimulate the development of cesium lead halide perovskite materials for next-generation photovoltaics.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors compared clinical features and treatment outcomes between patients with M. abscessus lung disease and those with massiliense lung disease, and found that the clinical and radiographic manifestations of disease caused by each species were similar.
Abstract: Rationale: Mycobacterium massiliense has been recognized as a separate species from Mycobacterium abscessus; however, little is known regarding the clinical impact of this differentiation. Objectives: To compare clinical features and treatment outcomes between patients with M. abscessus lung disease and those with M. massiliense lung disease. Methods: We performed molecular identification of stored clinical isolates of M. abscessus complex and compared clinical characteristics and treatment outcomes between 64 patients with M. abscessus lung disease and 81 patients with M. massiliense lung disease.Measurements and Main Results: The clinical and radiographic manifestations of disease caused by each species were similar. Standardized combination antibiotic therapy, including a clarithromycin-containing regimen in combination with an initial 4-week course of cefoxitin and amikacin, was given to 57 patients (24 with M. abscessus and 33 with M. massiliense) for more than 12 months. The proportion of patients wit...

TL;DR: The history, structure, contents, and way to use data procurement in the Korean National Health Insurance (NHI) system for the benefit of Korean researchers makes it a world-leading population-based epidemiology and disease research platform.
Abstract: Background: The National Health Insurance Service (NHIS) recently signed an agreement to provide limited open access to the databases within the Korean Diabetes Association for the benefit of Korean subjects with diabetes Here, we present the history, structure, contents, and way to use data procurement in the Korean National Health Insurance (NHI) system for the benefit of Korean researchers Methods: The NHIS in Korea is a single-payer program and is mandatory for all residents in Korea The three main healthcare programs of the NHI, Medical Aid, and long-term care insurance (LTCI) provide 100% coverage for the Korean population The NHIS in Korea has adopted a fee-for-service system to pay health providers Researchers can obtain health information from the four databases of the insured that contain data on health insurance claims, health check-ups and LTCI Results: Metabolic disease as chronic disease is increasing with aging society NHIS data is based on mandatory, serial population data, so, this might show the time course of disease and predict some disease progress, and also be used in primary and secondary prevention of disease after data mining Conclusion: The NHIS database represents the entire Korean population and can be used as a population-based database The integrated information technology of the NHIS database makes it a world-leading population-based epidemiology and disease research platform
