TL;DR: In this paper, a number of low-cycle fatigue tests were conducted on reinforced-concrete steel bars of various diameters to study their behavior under axial loading according to EN 10080 and EN 1421-3.
Abstract: A number of low-cycle fatigue tests were conducted on reinforced-concrete steel bars of various diameters to study their behaviour under axial loading according to EN 10080 and EN 1421-3. Scanning electron microscopy was used to study the specimen fracture surfaces. The problems faced during testing are presented and a specimen preparation method is described that will aid researchers on fatigue testing to obtain accurate test results and save on material and time.

TL;DR: In this paper, the results of the neutral-current-induced reaction of the neutrino with the 98Mo nucleus were investigated using a two-parameter Fermi-Dirac distribution.
Abstract: Inelastic neutrino–nucleus reaction cross sections at low and intermediate neutrino energies are studied. The required many-body nuclear wavefunctions are calculated in the context of a quasi-particle random phase approximation that uses realistic two-body forces. The results presented here refer to the differential, integrated and total cross sections of the neutral-current-induced reaction of νe with the 98Mo nucleus. Exploiting the obtained results, we investigate the response of this isotope as a supernova neutrino detector, assuming a two-parameter Fermi–Dirac distribution for the supernova neutrino energy spectra.

TL;DR: The paper proposes both terminological and computational adjustments and differentiated approaches for the models and their indices, in order to ameliorate their capabilities and to exploit their peculiarities for the developmental patterns.
Abstract: Input-Output literature can be characterized as complicated and chaotic. The complications concern the nomenclature of concepts for the derived indices from the multipliers’ models, their mathematical expressions and computable applications. The terminologies’ inconsistencies often end up to a deviation between the description for these indices and their actual computation, or/and to a misunderstanding as for their usefulness and outcomes. The aim of the paper is to help the readers to face the weaknesses in the literature. In this way, the paper provide an overview with a critical look to the constructed multipliers’ matrices and their derived indicators from the I-O models, and elaborate the causes for the scrutinized confusions. The paper proposes both terminological and computational adjustments and differentiated approaches for the models and their indices, in order to ameliorate their capabilities and to exploit their peculiarities for the developmental patterns. Alternative interpretative ways and applicable expansions are suggested.

TL;DR: Examination of SNS users' reaction towards different parameters that would influence their intention to purchase products and services through or via SNS finds the technology acceptance model as it was initially established by Davis and later further enriched by other researchers is extended.
Abstract: Social commerce creates a range of tremendous opportunities and new revenue streams for businesses worldwide across all industry sectors. To keep up with this pace, companies increasingly want to understand the behavioral attitude of social networking site (SNS) users. This article examines SNS users' reaction towards different parameters that would influence their intention to purchase products and services through or via SNS. The extant literature focuses on understanding the factors that might affect consumers' behavioral intention to adopt social commerce. In this study, new theoretical constructs are combined with existing evidence in order to extend the technology acceptance model as it was initially established by Davis and later further enriched by other researchers. The proposed conceptual model includes behavioral intention, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, trust, enjoyment, closeness, familiarity and reward.
