TL;DR: In this paper, the negative comments on the official Facebook pages of Greek supermarkets are analyzed in order to examine the strategies used by firms to tackle negative electronic word of mouth (NEWOM).
Abstract: The use of social media by firms and marketers is becoming essential due to the huge possibilities offered for low-cost promotion and improvement of their brand image. But, by nature, social media could be harmful for companies and brands as the published content often attracts negative comments by consumers and social media users. In the present paper, the negative comments on the official Facebook pages of Greek supermarkets are analyzed in order to examine the strategies used by firms to tackle negative electronic word of mouth (NEWOM). The particular strategies are evaluated based on the literature and provide useful conclusions about the effect on the corporations’ brand image.

TL;DR: In this paper, two new methodologies for the calculation of the probability p of operation of each outlet in on-demand irrigation networks, are developed in this work, and the comparison with the experimental data from the triennial survey on an irrigation network of Yiannitsa former lake's networks showed that the new method can approach satisfactory well the reality.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a comparative study of the countries through the financial ratios that were analysed, in order to find the characteristics of each economy in comparison to the others.
Abstract: The aim of this paper is to present a comparative study of the countries through the financial ratios that were analysed. This study was carried out in order to find the characteristics of each economy in comparison to the others. It would be worthy to mention that the three economies that were put under comparative study, are not of the same dynamic. The United States of America and Great Britain show some common characteristics due to the positions of power that they possess in the allocation of the global economy. However, in the case of Greece the same dynamic with the other two countries doesn’t exist, a fact that is greatly imprinted in their in-between comparison.

TL;DR: The paper shows the way to choose the appropriate control parameters' combination in order to obtain the lowest value of PAPR and analyzes the impact of the roll of factor and data block size on the system.
Abstract: Single Carrier Frequency Division Multiple Access (SCFDMA) is currently adopted by 3GPP in the LTE cellular systems for the uplink due to its high data rate and low peak-to-average power-ratio (PAPR). In this work, the PAPR for IFDMA (Interleaved Frequency Division Multiple Access), LFDMA (Localized Frequency Division Multiple Access), and DFDMA (Distributed Frequency Division Multiple Access) techniques are evaluated using Monte Carlo simulations. The results are obtained employing raised cosine (RC) and root raised cosine (RRC) pulse shaping filters, which are compared to each other using two different types of modulation QPSK and 16QAM. The current work also analyzes the impact of the roll of factor and data block size on the system. From the numerical analysis and evaluation, the paper shows the way to choose the appropriate control parameters' combination in order to obtain the lowest value of PAPR.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explore the levels of job satisfaction of Greek employees and examine the effects that specific personal characteristics have on these levels of satisfaction, including gender, age, marital status, educational level, and position that they hold in the bank.
Abstract: The purpose of the study was to explore the levels of job satisfaction of Greek employees and to examine the effects that specific personal characteristics have on these levels of job satisfaction. The sample consisted of 252 (51.7 %) males and 235 (48.3 %) females of different bank organizations. The results of the present study suggest that in general Greek bank employees are enough satisfied with their job in general. Moreover, MANOVA and post-ANOVA analysis have concluded that specific personal characteristics of the bank employees affect different aspects of their job satisfaction and their levels of job satisfaction in total such as gender, age, marital status, educational level, and the position that they hold in the bank. Also, the years of their general experience as bank employees, the years that they have been working in the specific institution and the years that they have been working in the same position affect their job satisfaction in a statistically significant way.
