TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a Verilog-AMS model of the comb-drive sensing element of the integrated capacitive microaccelerometer, which allows to simulate the reaction of the sensing element effected by the applied force of acceleration.
Abstract: The article presents Verilog – AMS model of the comb-drive sensing element of the integrated capacitive microaccelerometer. The suggested model allows to simulate the reaction of the sensing element effected by the applied force of acceleration, changes of its comb-drive capacities, output voltages and currents for determining its constructive parameters and for analysis of the mechanical module of the integrated device at the behavioral level of computer-aided design.

22 Feb 2001TL;DR: In this paper, the possibility of defect structure and consequently basic parameters (carrier density, their mobility and lifetimes) control in bulk MCT using the nanosecond laser irradiation induced shock waves (LSW) was investigated.
Abstract: The possibility of defect structure and consequently basic parameters (carrier density, their mobility and lifetimes) control in bulk mercury-cadmium telluride (MCT) using the nanosecond laser irradiation induced shock waves (LSW) is investigated. MCT bulk samples (with composition x equals 0.2) both n- and p- type with different initial structural quality were treated. The post-treatment changes have been detected by galvanomagnetic and photoelectric (lifetime) techniques. Two depending of irradiation mode mechanisms of interaction between LSW and bulk Hg1-XCdXTe defect subsystem are given. The potentiality of this technique as a technological tool for controlled modification of MCT parameters is discussed.

04 Dec 2017TL;DR: In this paper, the fracture surface of Charpy specimens tested at 20°C and -40°C was performed on micro scale level using SEM investigation, and the main regularities of temperature influence on fracture mechanisms in ferrite-pearlite steel type were shown.
Abstract: During operation, the railway axle is exposed to static, cyclic and dynamic loading that is accompanied by influence of corrosive environments. This causes the accumulation of structural and mechanical damages in the material, formation of corrosion and mechanical micro-defects that are potential sites of fatigue crack nucleation and growth. This requires the development of failure analysis methods that allow determining main mechanisms of ferrite-pearlite steels fracture on the micro scale level. The railway axle’s material – the OSL steel – main regularities of temperature influence on fracture mechanisms in ferrite-pearlite steel type are shown. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of fracture surface of Charpy specimens tested at 20°C and -40°C was performed on micro scale level using SEM investigation.
