TL;DR: In this paper, Oat lipase was found to give reproducibly 60% lipolysis of rice bran oil (RBO), and the efficiency was optimal at (a) RBO:emulsifier (0.5:1) ratio, homogenized for 2.5 min, pH 7.5 and (b) substrate:enzyme ratio of 5 ml: 2 g.
Abstract: Lipases from plant and microbial sources were screened for lipolysis of rice bran oil (RBO). Oat lipase was found to give reproducibly 60% lipolysis. Factors affecting the efficiency of lipolysis such as oil:emulsifier ratio, duration of homogenization for the substrate preparation, substrate:enzyme ratio, substrate pH, kinetics of lipolysis and efficiency of lipase as a function of pH, oat particle size, its quality and reuseability were studied to assess the feasibility of using of oat lipase for splitting RBO commercially. The efficiency of lipolysis was optimal at (a) RBO:emulsifier (0.5:1) ratio, homogenized for 2.5 min, (b) pH 7.5 and (c) substrate:enzyme ratio of 5 ml: 2 g.

TL;DR: Results confirmed that recycling of cereal proteins as foliar spray enhanced the quality and productivity of food crops.
Abstract: The farm scale spray trials were conducted to explore the applicability of cereal proteins hydrolysate (CPH) for the qualitative improvement/quantitative yield of moong bean (Vigna radiata), rice (Oryza sativa) and wheat (Triticum aestivum). The yields with water sprayed crops served as the control visa-vis CPH and plant growth regular (PGR-A) spray as experiments 1 and 2, respectively. The CPH spray afforded 25% increased production of moong-bean vis-a-vis PGR-A, and the control, besides improving its germination viability and sweetness. The rice yield by the CPH, PGR-A and control sprays were comparable; however, CPH and PGR-A afforded 17% higher protein content compared with control. The CPH and PGR-A sprays increased wheat production over control by 19 and 9%, respectively, besides promoting its germination viability and water extractables. The turgidity and higher weight of leaves per unit area in CPH sprayed plants suggested retarded rate of water evaporation and improved drought-resistance. In totally, these results confirmed that recycling of cereal proteins as foliar spray enhanced the quality and productivity of food crops.

TL;DR: In this paper, the performance characteristics of a missligned journal bearing are reported and it is observed that bush flexibility in a misaligned bearing, unlike that in an aligned bearing, improves the bearing load capacity owing to an increase in minimum film thickness.
