TL;DR: By carrying out the simulations over 1000 iterations, it has been demonstrated that MVO algorithm performs better in majority of the cases with average fitness function value of 0.152 and average execution time of 33.686 s.
Abstract: The need to develop smart unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) which are capable of deciding their trajectories is increasing at a rapid pace. Due to their usage in wide range of applications, such as-military, security, communications, survey mapping, disaster management, etc., the provisioning of end-to-end quality of service (QoS) is a challenging task in UAV environment. Moreover, with limited power, the efficiency of the UAVs can be enhanced if adaptive decisions with respect to their itineraries is considered dynamically. However, most of the solutions reported in the literature are not efficient with respect to QoS preservations for various applications. Motivated by this, several recently proposed meta-heuristic optimization schemes for reactive path planning of UAVs have been explored while designing a UAV path planning problem using multiverse optimizer (MVO). By carrying out the simulations over 1000 iterations, it has been demonstrated that MVO algorithm performs better in majority of the cases with average fitness function value of 0.152 and average execution time of 33.686 s.

TL;DR: In this work, over 4,000,00 reviews have been classified into positive and negative sentiments using Sentiment Analysis, and Naïve Bayes, Support Vector Machine (SVM), and Decision Tree have been employed for classification of reviews.
Abstract: Today, digital reviews play a pivotal role in enhancing global communications among consumers and influencing consumer buying patterns. E-commerce giants like Amazon, Flipkart, etc. provide a platform to consumers to share their experience and provide real insights about the performance of the product to future buyers. In order to extract valuable insights from a large set of reviews, classification of reviews into positive and negative sentiment is required. Sentiment Analysis is a computational study to extract subjective information from the text. In the proposed work, over 4,000,00 reviews have been classified into positive and negative sentiments using Sentiment Analysis. Out of the various classification models, Naive Bayes, Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Decision Tree have been employed for classification of reviews. The evaluation of models is done using 10 Fold Cross Validation.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated growth and physiological responses to excess amount of zinc (Zn) in Vitis vinifera (cultivar Combier) and found that the apparent plant growth, as indicated by daily height growth, daily stem diameter variation, and biomass accumulation, was increased by 3.5-7.0 mM surplus Zn addition.
Abstract: Cuttings of Vitis vinifera (cultivar Combier) were exposed to seven different zinc (Zn) concentrations (control, 3.5, 7.0, 14.0, 21.0, 28.0, and 35.0 mM) to investigate growth and physiological responses to excess amount of zinc (Zn). The apparent plant growth, as indicated by daily height growth, daily stem diameter variation, and biomass accumulation, was increased by 3.5–7.0 mM surplus Zn addition. Coupled with the increase in plant growth, grape retained low level of leaf Zn concentration, and also retained high level of leaf iron concentration due to increasing translocation of iron (Fe) from root and shoots to leaves. Leaf N and K were increased or found at a constant high level, paralleling with low oxidative pressure and enhanced catalase (CAT) activity. Moreover, plant growth was depressed under high Zn levels (>14.0 mM). Generally excess Zn was stored in the non-sensitive plant parts (roots and shoots), and it caused significant reductions of P, Fe, Mn, Cu in different parts of plant. At the same time, excess Zn caused a pronounced increase in abscisic acid concentration. Our results showed that cultivar Combier is a highly Zn-tolerant grape cultivar and could be used as pioneer plants in metalliferous site and in acidic soil of the tropical and subtropical area.

TL;DR: In this paper, a sudden outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has brought global declines in the commodity process, which has majorly affected the demand as well as supply of the commodities.
Abstract: The novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) originated in China has now covered around 213 countries globally. It has posed health calamities which have threatened the world with the emergence. Owing to the number of confirmed cases still rising every day, it has now become a phase of an international health emergency. Sudden outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has brought global declines in the commodity process. This has majorly affected the demand as well as supply of the commodities. The oil market has been severely affected due to the outrageous collapse in the demand majorly due to travel restrictions which has also caused the steepest decline in oil prices. The prices of both precious and industrial metals have also fallen, although the price drop is less than that of oil prices. The agriculture industry is one of the least affected so far by this pandemic due to its indirect relation with economic activities. However, the ultimate impact of COVID-19 pandemic will greatly depend on the severity and duration of its outspread, but it is expected to have long-lasting implications.

TL;DR: The results prove the competence and superiority of binSMO to existing metaheuristic algorithms and it has an ability to become an effective tool for solving binary optimization problems.
Abstract: This paper presents a novel binary algorithm named as binary spider monkey optimization (binSMO) for thinning of concentric circular antenna arrays (CCAA). The proposed algorithm has been adapted from a recently developed nature inspired optimization method, spider monkey optimization (SMO). SMO works in continuous domain and as such is not suitable for application to binary optimization problems. The binSMO algorithm has been proposed with inclusion of logical operators in SMO for binary thinning problem. Thinning of an antenna array reduces the maximum side lobe level (SLL) as well as cost and size of antenna array. Thinning of CCAA can be modelled as 0–1 binary integer optimization problem. The proposed binSMO is used to synthesize CCAA in order to reduce the SLL and at the same time keeping the percentage of thinning equal to or more than the desired level. Simulation examples of two ring and ten ring CCAA have been considered. The novel method binSMO gives reduced SLL as compared to the resul...
